That car looks great in dark grey. Id like to beat on it for about a week...Then hand it back. Too many electronics for me....Must be an absolute kick in the azz to drive thouhg.

As for the claer hood opening:
 Allows the intake and head cover to be seen from outside showing the LS9 badging  I am sure if someone wanted they could have it body color matched or use a contrast such as matte black for apperance purposes. It is a veru inovative function not to unlike the clear window on the back of the Ford GT (GT 40):  |

I see what you mean...if it was actually the scoop sticking out, it would look neater. I don't if I like this either...but I like the car in general though!

I think the Z06 would be the one I would want to drive most, though. :thumbright: Slightly OT, but good call on starting the generational forums- we'll get more members. Plus I'm right in the middle of deciding whether to go all-out on my 95 or ditch it and get a C6 Z51 or C6 Z06. Financially, I'd lose less $$ on the modded 95 for sure- but it would be cool to have a C6. (Wish I could have both c4 and c6, though!) |

In my opinion, that is the closest thing to sex on wheels GM has made since the ZR-1 and Bandit's T/A...
I love the skull and crossed-flags emblem on the air cleaner. Nice to see that front inlet being put to good use as well. I also agree some of the over-the-top cosmetic features could/should be omitted in favor of a lower MSRP or some other go-faster features. |
