Indeed, I was just getting used to it being light out when I'd leave in the morning. Oh well, soon enough.

Nice to be at work, relaxing. Last night I finished painting the bedroom we converted into a walk-in closet - complete PITA as all the shelving, etc. had to come down. The good news is I should be dead by the time it needs painting again. This morning I was behind a single car on the entrance ramp to a 70-mph freeway. The driver managed to get up to the blistering speed of approximately 30 mph by the time we got to the end of the ramp. I recall saying something like, "Gosh, I wish he would go a little faster."

Have a good day, all!

I had to give a blood sample this morning. I got smart about this a long time ago. It's a fasting situation so I make an appointment at the collection center a few days before I go. The first one they had was for 07:50. Perfect for the day after the time change. I woke up at 06:50, which is like my normal time of 06:00, showered, dressed and out the door. Got there right on time. Appointments go before walk-ins. I sat for 10 minutes, saw the vampire and was back home by about 08:15.
I'm such a coffee addict that I need my morning fix. I hate having to wait till 09:00 or 10:00. By then my stomach is gurgling and I start to get irritable. When staying in a hotel I'd get up, get dressed, go to the nearest coffee shop or restaurant and get one to go, then go back to my room and get ready for the day. I love a room that has a coffee pot in it. Do any of you have an addiction? Gum? Toothpicks? Candy? Soda? The Guru? Just wondering.

Unfortunately, the PIT maneuver is illegal.

That weapons system is really cool. Look! It even has satelite TV so you can watch a program while you wait for your target to show up.

Morning guys....I'm like Don, not a lot of spring in my step. Had a hard time getting to sleep, so I had a hard time getting up. Been drinking lots of water today, trying to avoid another encounter with the "devils B-Bs".

Weather here is supposed to be great upper 70's to lower 80's all week.

No road rage here. I love the way people drive like idiots.

Without a Concealed Weapons Permit, the gun and bullet rules apply. With the CWP you can be locked, loaded and ready for action. There have been a few tire iron/knife vs gun incidents here. You have to treat everyone like they're carrying. There is always the chance that they are. In every case I know of, no charges were filed against the gun toting drivers that feared for their lives. Understanably so. There was a case in Homestead where a guy was robbed. He chase the robber down and put a few into his back. That guy got some serious time. The threat was over and the theif was fleeing. They found him guilty of second degree murder. So remember, shoot em in the front and keep a throw down knife if you want to get off.

I think we can shoot em in the back here but, we have a good DA.
Loaded, under the seat without a CWP here too.

15 years ago, this was a really safe place to live, no mas.

This morning's easy project was putting a new chromed alternator on the Vette. Wasn't bad, maybe an hour in total. Now I have to decide what to do with the take off alternator, which has one of the bolt holes for a brace with stripped threads. Otherwise fairly nice weather today so I might go out and cut/split some firewood for next year.

Good Morning CGs!

DST is not a friend of mine. Got the kids washed up, one is at preschool, other is with my wife at the store. Getting ready to workout, then I have to watch the rugrat across the street for a couple hours. Lovely way to spend my day off

It's wet but warm here. Hopefully it clears up because my daughter wants to ride in the "broom broom" car later. It's our daddy/daughter time. Take a ride in a car and get a slurpee

Hope everyone has a great day!

So, I decided to run down the hill for a donut (yea, I have big plans for today).
4 lane road down the mountain with one signal light, 55 mph.
The ONLY car on the road, in front om me by 20 lengths decides that the green light means stop dead right there.
Of course, she's on her cell phone.

So, I already have a dose of RR.

Why? You just have to do it again in the fall. I never reset the clock in the pick up, so now it is right on time again.

I don't bother with clocks anymore, there's no one yanking my chain.

Now, if I look at the latest Guru clock on when things were posted, I'd be confused....
