I drooled over stugg from 10 to 2 p.m. and it is hot.
Went downtown first to look at cars, hit the Big Boys Toy Store and the show car exibit.

Then hit the Grand Sierra Casino event.

I liked a lot of them hell, there were 6 splitwindows in one parking lot.

I should have taken a better pic but the dr. green Chevy II, post 4 pic 3 is a mint (total restoration, matching numbers L78 (396, 375H). It was absolutely showroom.

Rough estimates are that there's 25-30,000 cars in town.

I was looking for a nice T-Bone Mobile in those shots. A lot of nice rides there but none had me day dreaming about ownership. I guess I'll know it when I see it. And after I see it ..... I still can't afford it.

I'm fine with a new ZR1, don't really need anything special, custom,etc.

It's nuts Mark, it started on Aug. 3rd in South Lake Tahoe thru thr 5th then moved down here thru next Sunday.

Pics don't even show 10% of what's going on, the pics of the Grand Sierra is only one, large casino parking lot, the same thing's happening all over town and in 5 other large casino lots.

And everyone is crusing so, every stoplight you come to has a bunch of cars at it.

Lotsa sweet rides! Sure is a nice change of pace to see so many neat cars cruising around when one of those big shows is in town. Beats the hell out the endless parade of dull jellybeans every day.

Holy crap!!!! Sure wish we could have something like that here. But down here you'd have some yaahoo ruin it for everyone, and have the popo all over it. Sounds and looks like an awesome deal Bill!!!! Kinda, in a small way, sounds like our cruising Whittier Blvd days, but then again ......

It does sound like a great show to get a car woody. The simultaneous events sound great. Good way to fill up the hotels and enjoy the scenery. Gambling, eating, sleeping and cars. The booze and the babes would be nice too but both of those would get this ol'boy in a heap of trouble. Wait a minute ....... Trouble is my middle name .........

Well, ya see, you could tell Sue that you've been asked to do a landscape project in Reno. Tell her it's a business trip.

Take lotsa pics of my dirt.

Of coures, I'll propably reject the designs after you get back home.
