Good morning
I'm back in familiar territory. The dog house. Nothing new there. It's a recurring theme.

Greetings! Dark and dreary and cool here, not a great combination. But I'm headed to the dentist shortly, so that should supply some cheer. I heard on the news this morning that one of the last drive-in theaters in town is closing. On the bright side, a shiny new Walmart will take its place. Progress

Have a good day, all!

Which would you rather do Brad? Sit in a hot car watching a movie with an inauduible speaker till your ass goes numb or sit in a theatre with a reclining chair with a cup holder, air conditioning and surround sound. (whining kids and ringing cell phones optional) I know you'd prefer couch seating but you have to do that at home.

Ah the old passion pit....what a loss to early teenage development. When I was in High School in Omaha there were at least 6 Drive-In Movies places in the metro area now there is none. When I drive by the places that are businesses now I think back to those days. It was what we did back then, take a date to the drive-in and learn important stuff about anatomy and math....how many kids will fit in the trunk of the old mans Plymouth. Got one Drive-In left in Nebraska in a town about 100 miles north of here. We took the kids to it but they complained when me and Momma steamed up the windows......what's up with that...?

I was out driving last night and had a thought....the PO of the GS must have defeated the CAGS because it shifts normal.

Well we fed the thundering hoards Tacos last night. Went through 30 pounds of burger and a ton of soft and hardshell tacos. Along with 10 gals of lemonade, and uncountable cookies and brownies. The boys can eat. The majority of them stopped to say thanks on their way out which does good for my faith in todays youth. Big game against the #1 team in our conference tonight in their new 2.5 million dollar stadium....with astro turf.....geez...

Have a great day Guru's....it's the weekend....

I have to say congrats to one of our (Reno SCCA) drivers, Debbie Kisswell took her second National Championship in Solo II (autocross) in Topeka, Ks. on Wednesday.

About 4 p.m. yesterday, I notices that my neighbor was drilling holes in plywood in his driveway....at 5 p.m., he's still drilling.
So I had to walk over to see WTF.

He's making stands for his golf clubs....he has 450 clubs.

Good Morning CGs!

Wifey is at work today, but I still can't play. Dropped RR#1 off at day care, I still have RR#2 to watch. We stopped at the post office after I dropped her off to ship a box. I think we might work in the backyard today, but I rained the last 2 hours or so. I need to dig up the old edging and put in the new stuff, then lay down the anti-weed paper.

Marcus - sounds like football is important to some people out there

I remember going to the drive in as a kid. We'd back the pickup truck in and lay in the bed in our sleeping bags and my folks would sit in lawn chairs. Lots of fun. My buddy said there's still a drive in about 45 minutes from here, I'd like to take the kids. Double feature for 8 or 9 dollars. Not bad.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

The Starlite is the one we went to. I did not know that Kearney had their's going. Went there often when I lived there back in college. I did not know that Alliance had opened one up also. Good stuff thanks Matt......

Today is my wifes B-day. Got here a cake, a card and 4 lotto tickets for a $2500 a week for life game. Still missing the windfall. Going to the Casino for lobster and steak a little later. She'll play poker and I'll push some buttons after dinner. We're celebrating her B-day with the family Sunday night at a nice Itailian restaurant. I cut the grass at the nurseries. Now I'm doing the house. After that I'm good to go.

Morning guys....I didn't look at the list, but I know there are several Drive-in movie theaters out in Colorado. Marcus, I'm betting the PO put in the CAGS elimination pigtail. He put the Corsas on.

People who live on golf courses have to know that the possibility of golf balls hitting their houses is a fact. Maybe he just had too many and cracked....or maybe the 33 year old golfer had a mouth.

Headed for KC after school, GS has a birthday party tomorrow and we will be watching two GD tomorrow evening while parents go out for their anniversary.

It was sunny when I came to school this morning but the clouds have moved in and the temps have not raised too much. 65 right now and headed for upper 70's or low 80's. Now if it would just rain.

Got to go, kids are calling for me.

Took the GS out and shifted at 1500 and at a grand and it went right into 2nd so the PO must have put the delete in. He's a Vette guy who had a 06 Z06 before he ordered this one so I'm sure he wouldn't have put up with the skip shift.

Anyway it saves me having to do it.....
