Been cruising Craigslist and ran across a 67 Coronet 500. I think I'll try to go take a look at it. Has some rust and needs engine work, but cheap enough, I think.

Yea, it's very nice.

About the only thing that's '67 is the body & seats though.

When he finishes the SplitWindow, it's gonna blow away the '67.

I sat in it, C6 seats and the LS6 sounds like a 67 Z28, all cammed up,

But he has to get the new shop built first, 30 x 30 x 12 ceilings in addition to his 3 car garage. Construction may start next week.

If you have an extra 12 x 12 potbellied pig decal, I'll take it,

This with magnetic backing would work.

That's an impressive car, Bill.

Why were you sanding/painting the truck?

Yea, VERY impressive.

On the delivery day, the PO watched a motorhome back into his new truck.
At least he told me when I bought it.

The body puddy cracked and water got under it, so it cracked some more and there were some surface rust spots.
2 quarter sized pieces of puddy fell out.

I figured i better get to it before winter, takin' up my C2 time,

The used decent body filler so, it lasted 12 years. If it was Bondo, 3 years maybe.

To grind out the filler and get to bare metal - 15 min.
I figure about an hour or 1 1/2 to complete.

I should paint the whole truck but I don't wanta - the C2 ya know.

So a magnetic sign is looking better and better. Or you could just go to your neighbors and smear a little horse puddy on it. You'd blend right in.

Did ya ever notice that no matter how long you live in Reno, your always gonna be a newcomer.

The base bare, unpainted frame's about $7k

A roller w/o engine & trans is $14k for the base model.
But it can go up from there, way up.
