Well it's a cold one here today and for the next few days. I saw that someone mentioned the four letter "S" word yesterday. We haven't seen that yet, but I'm sure it's coming soon. This Frankenstorm is bound to mess up weather across the whole US, in addition to hammering the coastal states. Good luck to everyone who will be affected by that.

Buddy is having a Halloween party tonight but I can't make it, the wife signed up for a shift at work and won't be home until 8 or so. That means getting this kids to bed and whatnot so I'll be by myself until then.

Anyone else have any parties or exciting stuff going on?

Well I made a long post after the "Good Morning". I tagged on the reply of that thread. Long posts cannot go onto aa thread that no longer exists. I hit the submit button and it took off to never never land. I'm done .........

Morning guys...Gs has his "Super Bowl" today. Plays in less than an hour, good thing it is just across town, it will take me 2 minutes to get there and I'm not anxious about getting out in the cold. It's 22 this morning and not going to warm up much. Yesterdays snow lasted most of the day, but once the clouds broke it melted right off. But that's what allowed it to get really cold last night. The church is having a bazaar today to try and raise some funds for projects needed around the church buildings. We have volunteered to run the cake walk.

Got to go for now.

Howdy! It's a balmy 31 here, practically tropical compared to 22 ;-)

Gonna start packing the RDX up to the gills shortly for its first road trip. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of MPG it gets (rated 27 highway). We never managed more than about 18 with the Liberty, but it's a little tank.

Cold out there and the wind started picking up, so made it feel much colder.

Just got back in from Scottsbluff....yikes that's a long way out there. We put on 720 miles since we left yesterday. But who cares....! Our kids had the game of their lives and we beat the undefeated. Holy man, woman and child its a win for the ages..the town is nuts and we are looking forward to the next big game coming up Friday.

I'm a tired pup and need some big chair time to watch the Huskers tonight take on Michigan....I gave my tickets to the kids.....

Matt ... I was looking at a big blank white screen. I'll try to remember the back button next time. I obviously was in never never land myself. The post I was going to make was earth shattering news and would have helped those in the Northeast survive the upcoming onslaught of weather. No doubt future generations will be affected by the loss of that post and the information it contained. It must have been meant to be.

Went to a car show at rolling meadows high school.Got a nice trophy for late model mod.10/28 sun.10-3 olsons ace hardware franklin pk.Turnout was great today,perfect spot for a show,school was open and students handled concessions.
