Bill and the other lone rangers. What's the game plan? If worse comes to worst you can always go the the casino for the buffet and then sit down after and work it off.

I love that it's a nickle machine. With a max of $3.75 a pull. Wouldn't take long to go through a bag full of nickles at that rate.

Good Morning CGs!

Foggy outside today. Supposed to hit around 60. Nice weather for the end of November. I'll take it.

Work today and through the weekend. We are going to my wife's aunt/uncle's house for T-giving - that's the standard tradition since I've been dating my wife.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! Food prep started last night - wifey makes up mashed potatoes ahead of time, mixed with cream cheese and sour cream. Tonight, salads and pies get made. The preparations aren't so bad - it's cleaning up the aftermath of the dinner that sucks. Meanwhile, I'm glad I put up outdoor Christmas lights last weekend - temps are gonna take a nosedive after tomorrow.

Have a good day, yawlz!

No, I gotta be good , stupid B/S Black Friday thing @ 10 p.m. to fight for that 60 in. TV.

Not lookin' forward to it at all, they'll probably only have one in stock and I won't even be able to drink a beer until 10:30

Then I'll wait for the 55 in. 3D to come on sale in 2 weeks.

Those bags-o-nickles (and a couple bags-o-quarters) paid for 2 front coil springs and wheel bearings for the C2.

I gots some more bags right now, the C2 needs parking brake shoes.

When to bet max ????

One thing I can guarantee - If you bet max for a while and then play one nickel, you'll hit the jackpot, Murphy.

And those damn multi denomination machines, A couple, three days ago, I was playin' fitty cent (one at a time), sat down at a video poker machine........forgot to change the denom from a nickel to fitty cent.........hit a royal flush on the first coin......for $10....

Does anybody have a 3D TV out in Guruland? What if it isn't a 3D show? I think I will stick to the regular HD TV's for now.....I was going to get UWoman one for the great room for Christmas....anyway....today I will work some in the office and then help clean up the joint...my #2 daughter got home last night and her boyfriend is coming over for Thanksgiving....

We stay pretty traditional with Turkey and sage dressing, mashed potatos and gravy, sweet potatos pie with melted marshmellows on top and green bean casserole. Throw some salad in and pumkin pie with lots of whipped cream and I'm good.....just help me to my big chair and turn on the football game and life is good....the kids can help clean up.

Weather here is crazy good....I mentioned awhile back that my GS was doing wierd things when I started it cold. Missing and sputtering for just a bit before it evened out. My tech had scoped it and could not see anything going on so we thought it might be injector related so I ran a bottle of Techron through it and am now on my second one and the problem has gone away.....I don't know why....all I know is the car just seems to run better...smoother and more powerful....whatever is in that stuff it works.....do they have anything like that for people?

Have a good day Guru's.....

There's passive & active. The active glasses are heavier (batteries in em) and cost a bunch. Most TVs can convert a 2D to 3D sorta.

The thing is, when the 55 in. goes on sale soon - the 3D set will be $100-$150 less than the identical 2D , at least it was that way last year.

I could care less about 3D but really care about $100.

Yeah that's only about 60 miles from here....I need to pay more attention to what goes on there. Harchelroad Motors is a big Callaway and Corvette dealer out in western Nebraska and they are always having some kind of big doings going on over there for their customers. There are a lot of rich farmers who have Vettes and Callaways stuck back in the sheds here in Huskerland.....

Most pet turkey owners say the birds aren't the kind of pets that can be dressed for the Christmas family photo.

I always thought that dressing was the best part.

With a little gravey on it.

I am thinking of donating to a school for hockey players. This school would teach the ever important basics of education that would enable a hockey player to balance a checkbook, recite the alphabet for an officer that may pull them over and reading lessons to help them to understand a menu. Future plans are in place for a pro bono dental visit for the unemployed hockey player. Hopefully the team owners will quit pucking around.
