Did you know: Provisions inside the ACA will pay subsidies to the insurance companies estimated at $1 trillion over the next 10 years? Your tax dollars at work. And the administration is working on more of your dollars to help offset the loss of premium revenue and profit for the insurance companies. So, if people see their premiums go up and the deductables become huge..........It's all part of the plan.

That is what kills us financially. And paying those subsidies is more then likely cheaper than the options... My sister-in-laws brother is a concrete worker. In DE, he works about 9 months of the year. Can't pour in freezing weather. About 10 years ago, they found a lump in his neck. Cancer. No insurance. The state ended up footing the bill - over $100k. If he had health care and had an annual checkup, that lump would have been found sooner.

And the insurance companies aren't going to help cause they are going to make money no matter what happens. The best thing to do would be to dump the whole thing and start over or send it back to Congress and fix it in a bipartisan committee (yea,right). Hell, congress is so interested in getting their job done that they have exactly 5 days in Dec. scheduled for when both the house and senate are in session at the same time. The government can't run anything right, is there any program they run that's on budget with no excesses? If Congress and business could sit down and hammer this out into something reasonable, it would be fantastic. Of course politics will prevent this from happening.

Wonder what that ratio is? The big O is out speechifying that the Repubs don't have any ideas at all. While they actually have 3 different plans that at least could be discussed BUT - the big O won't grant any of them a meeting. One frustrated Comgressman at todays hearings said that the memos he's sent asking for a meeting have gone totally unanswered. So, he looked at his democrat colleagues and gave them his phone number...............think the pres will call?
