Do goat ropers eat goat kabobs?

You'd think they'd be worried about getting splinters in their lips.

Just got back from the funeral services and it was an upbeat occasion. We talked of the good things and shared our happy experiences. We all left feeling better for having known Jim. We will all miss him. His personal belongings have been reduced to a van load. That means piles and piles of his life are destined for the landfill. It's amazing how much value we put on stuff but in the end it only goes to show, one mans treasure is another mans trash. I asked the executor of the estate if any of his art work was for sale. They're going to get back with me on that. The way his will was written is that everything is to be liquidated to cash and the money given to one of his nieces. There is an item that he gave me that I gave back to him to hold as part of his collection. It demonstrated some of his work. I fear it's now lost. I still have some of his other works that were given to me as gifts. Everything else will have to be committed to memory. One day they'll come to clean my house. One day everything has the same destiny, to be returned to the earth from which it came. The cycle continues.

Deep stuff, huh?

Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust.

Ain't that the truth, Tommy. I am the keeper of the boxes of stuff we all eventually become in the end - those last few momentos, photos and papers that nobody wants to throw out. I hope you are able to track down the piece you want.

My son made me a very cool gift. When we were down in Mexico, we often played a death match of beanbags. and had a lot of fun. So he made me a set:

HEY! I've actually used Brad (Twice!)On different projects.

He's a nice normal guy....I liked him.

I may use him again, although there's a lot of competition here in Vancouver.

Glad you got to reminisce about your friend, Tommy. Hopefully you can acquire a few pieces to help remember him.
