Hidey-ho! I must be slipping, only made it to 9:25 today. A few chores to get done, but it should otherwise be a lazy day. Maybe I'll drive the Vette tomorrow, we'll see. I haven't done anything with the brakes yet, probably will wait until spring.

Have fun, everybody!

LIT OUT EARLY FOR A LONG DELAYED TRIP TO THE RIFLE RANGE. GOT THERE AND IT WAS CRAWLING WITH PEOPLE. TURNED AROUND AND CAME HOME. THE OLDER I GET THE LESS PATIENTS I HAVE, AND THE THINGS I WANTED TO DO WOULD HAVE INVOLVED GOING DOWN RANGE A LOT. A PIA FOR ME AND EVERYBODY ELSE. WEEK DAY MO' BETTA.

Had to run an errand, and I was behind a sweet '64 Chevelle SS - ahhhh, the smell of unburned hydrocarbons!

Painted the 67's hood on Wednesday..........for the 3rd freekin' time.

Got the headlight buckets in for the final time, real P.I.A. due to the 1970's body shop screw-ups.

Headlight motors rebuilt and installed, wiring harness-meh, just hanging there.

Way too much BUT a repo harness is $550+.

Every contact was removed from it's plastic housing and cleaned to bright metal with a wire wheel on a Dremil, housings were cleaned, any wires with splits (very few) were repaired and the entire harness was cleaned and rewrapped with harness tape.

Hey guys.... LAZY??? I was up and packed and on the road before you guys posted. Made it home in good time, right at 6 hours. 372 miles on 12.2 gallons 30.4mpg not bad, especially when we had about a 15 mile run where I was at 90+. It's a long open road between Walsenburg and LaJunta (71 miles).

Unloaded the car and then got the wash equipment out and gave it a good bath and put her away, nice and comfy under the cover.

It was hot when we made the eastern Colorado plains, mid 90's and the same when we got home. Not looking forward to this week's heat they are predicting.

Glad you had a safe trip Tom.
Car is looking good Bill.

Was warm and humid today. Worked in the garage and started filling up the new cabinet spaces. I need to totally empty the tool boxes and put things back in a more organized manner.
