Morning guys....where is everyone this morning? We've already been to the 'city' and had breakfast and done our weekly shopping. Clear but cold and windy, which, more than likely, is the reason it feels so cold.

Got some stuff to do in the shop, so I think I'll get to it.

Greetings! I was busy doing extensive QC testing on my mattress and pillow. Made pretty good progress on getting ready for vacation yesterday - I even made a list of stuff I'm going to forget. Meanwhile, we're melting snow at a pretty good clip - my deck is almost clear. Looks like that trend should continue for a bit. The forecast for PV looks pretty typical:

https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/MXJO0047:1:MX

We finally started watching 11.22.63 on Hulu last night (the Mrs. insisted on watching the Grammy's last Sunday). Digging it so far.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Good Afternoon CGs!

I was up early and in the garage working. I got the motor mounts finished up, the torque converter bolts attached and torqued, and the headers installed and tightened down. I didn't feel like doing the headers today while I was doing it, but I'm glad I did.

Cool here today compared to the past few days. I'll take the kids out in a bit to ride their bikes anyway.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Did you find the cause of the blow-by before the rebuild?

Motor looks good, hard part is done.

Howdy.
Went to an auction yesterday and bought several thousand dollars worth off essentials. Like antique scales ($50 and $40), a bronze 5 dolphin fountain that stands 6 feet ($1250, a steal), a Fenco 4 drawer industrial tool box with the drawers full of sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers clamps and assorted other tools ($50, another steal), a used once Ryobi 10" table saw and stand ($90), assorted nursery supplies, plants, bird baths, benches, antique lantern, meat slicer and so on. 31 items in total that I don't know how we have lived so long without them. None the less, the wife and I enjoyed the day finding ways to convey our hard earned money into the hands of the auctioneer and estate owners. Between auctions and casinos, I don't know which one is worse. With auctions at least you bring something home.

Good afternoon, all.

Feels more like late March than late February in the Philadelphia area today, gray but in the mid 50s.

I'm watching the Daytona 500 now—I'd do a separate thread, but I don't think there are a lot of NASCAR fans on Guru. Still, such a show and such pageantry; the Thunderbirds looked great flying over (and I say that as an old Navy guy).

Here is a pic of a Fenco Drawer chest. It apparrently was not used for tools originally but makes a superb tool chest. They call it a Bus Teller pedestal cabinet. It makes an excellent tool storage unit. Far better than most new cabinets I've seen. Mine is an older, nice, medium-dark green color with patina. The drawers glide with ease, even under a heavy load.

Very nice—more good storage is always a positive.

It was a pretty day here. Overhead door was open most of the day. Did some work on projects and did some maintenance things.
