where to have a 4+3 rebuilt??? the dudes in a barn id mentioned earlier has no overdrive...and he said they weldid somethin together to git him home n now ony has 4spd...so he lets it set...who still works on these and anybody close in mn.???

good question... but there are other questions that need to be asked.
Are we SURE the OD unit is bad? Many times, wiring is the cause... not mechanical. If it was my car, I would seriously consider upgrading to the TKO 5spd. It's got the same ratios, but in a more modern 5spd package without the OD unit. It is more expensive, but I believe it will make a much nicer driving car. |

1st that spellin were jus ta see ifn yad notice!!!
 bog there are lots of questions... im getting secondhand bs n trin to pass it on and help the guy.... my freind jus said he was in the cities n the cats od quit werkin so this shop weldid somthing to get them home n now car ony has 4 spd ...sarry ill try n find out more ...but am hearing more n more they dont repair a 4+3 anywhere ...n that spookes me too knowing i have one myself |
