Well not me actually. I got some kind of throat, stomach back and sinus bug. Not fun at all. Up every 2 hours through the night to leave a leak. I don't take a leak, I leave them. Sweats and chills swapping of and on with each other and uncomfortable back pain. Top it off with a sinus headache and it made for a night to remember. Seeing that I don't get sick too often, this one has really put me down. Hope it's quick and moves on .......

Morning guys....we were up early and decided to go to early Mass. Just got back and the rest of the clan was up. Rosie, SIL and GD just left to go get birthday donuts. The other GD has her tenth birthday today. We will clelbrate with them and later head west.

I do hope that you get to feeling better Tommy. It sucks to be down like that.

Howdy! Another warm one today, near 90. Not as humid as yesterday, though. I'll be in the midst of a bathroom make-over, so I'll have to sneak out and enjoy some of it from time to time.

Mojo for Tommy and Mrs. GRIS' friend.

Have a good day, all!

Geez Tommy hope it isn't some tropical thing......mojo on getting back to 100%......

Well I spent all day yesterday in the manly pursuit of speed..... ran 5 times with the best being 138.3 in the half mile event.......slam dunk shifts on that one. My 4 run average was 137.85 and that was good enough to beat the stock C7 8A who was in line ahead and ran a best avg of 136.7.

I got beat by a modified 2007 Shelby 500 by .15 of a mile avg. That is one quicker 3rd gear shift and I would have had him. His avg was 138 mph.

The Z06 car that ran stock last year in the Half Mile and was hitting 149's like clock work, spent around $3K on a dyno tune and hit 144, 146, 147......he was not a happy guy...... I would tell them put it back and give me my money back...... tuning is an art form I am finding out......

Don't worry I beat this one.....

McLaren 675LT.........ran 162 in the half but he was feathering it to stay under 165 mph which is the limit in the Half......do not know why he did not want to run the mile. Last year the same guy showed up with one of his GT 40's and ran 204 with it in the mile. He has 3 GT 40's but traded one off for to get the McLaren...... now that's a first world problem ya.....

all lined up for the show......

I have learned that each mile you go faster cost a certain dollar figure....the C7 Z06 guys were running in the low 150's and their cost for equipment is up there in the 100K range...... funny how that works....spend more go faster....amazing....... anyway that's what I did yesterday.......

Enjoy your day Guru's.....

Beautiful day here weather-wise. Hope everyone is enjoying it on their end.

Happy birthday to the granddaughter, TB.

Very nice numbers, Marcus.

Hope you feel better, Tommy. I'm feeling a bit under the weather, myself.

I did drive the Corvette today, that makes anyone feel better.

Sounds like a fun day, Marcus!

Have I mentioned how much I hate painting bathrooms?

Interesting. This is the one truly high performance thing we have considered doing. How much prep did you have to do?
