Hidey-ho! It must be Friday, since I put the garbage out. Working from home today - we have to knock off early to meet some friends in downtown Minneapolis for dinner before going to see Billy Joel.

Morning guys....Slept in a bit this morning. Headed to the 'city' to pick some stuff up and match stain for Marcus's project. What I had left was just a bit short of what I need.

It's going to be seasonably warm to slightly cool for the next week, highs in the mid 80s-mid 90s. If the humids stay down it will be pleasant.

I find that most covers of the Beatles stuff is lacking normally, but Joe's version of "With a little from my friends" is great.

Friday......got meetings and family stuff going on. The Fridges are stuffed with all things good..... mmmmm...... steak and fresh corn on the cob tonight.......

The GS has been sitting outside with a car cover on it while the shop is being used to make a wedding moon.......I won't bother trying to describe it.....just google it...... the sacrifices we make.....

On the way back to from the 'city' we decided to call the guy who has been on me to hang some cabinets in their 'craft room' and go out to do the job. They were OK with that, so we unloaded, put the groceries away, loaded up the tools and went out to do the job. Spent 5 hours out there, thankfully, they had the AC on as the temps felt bad....really was just humid as heck. They were tickled with the result.

Tomorrow we are headed to see my brother. Three hours east of here. My sister/BIL and little brothers wife are going to be there too. Brother isn't doing so well and sis feels the need to see him. She has had her days of not being well, she just finished her radiation treatments. After the visit we will head down to Rosies' dad and spend the night there. Then home Sunday afternoon.

Drawer slides for Marcus's cabinets were on the porch when we got home, so mount the drawers, stain the trim and drawer fronts and they will be ready for delivery in the near future.

We have hit our record highs I think for two days in a row but starting Sunday evening we had a slight cool down. We needed it. Looking at a drought coming up though
Im sorry to hear your brother isn't doing well Tee, hopefully and prayers things will look up for him.
