Morning Guys....

I woke up about 45 minutes early thinking about the cabinet job and what materials I still needed to acquire. So I came down stairs and double checked what was on order and created an email to my lumber supplier for some additional things for next week. Most of it will be here on Tuesday.

A few things to do before we head to Hutchinson for the family viewing this evening. I made this plaque for the family. It's 16 x 11

Howdy! Looks like a soggy day on tap, and more rain coming tomorrow. Naturally I have a golf tournament tomorrow. Last night we went to a St. Paul Saints game - had a great time. Very cool ballpark with lots of activities, food and beverages, humor between innings (such as drag queens dragging the infield), and of course their mascot pig, who this year is named Alternative Fats.

Tommy that looks like a lot of work to me......is it by your house? I think it is a real jungle...... what are your plans for it...?

Went through a small town yesterday and there in a used car lot sat a bright orange chrome bumper Corvette......I though is this 1974? So I wheeled in and took a look.....its a 427 390 hp car with a 4 speed. It looks to be all there with two tops.....the paint is like done with a broom. The old guy that had it stored for 30 years was sick and needed the money...... 37K for it and it would need a lot of work of course...... I thought that was high but a big block car can bring that to the right buyer...... the engine numbers did not match......... Kinda cool to see it out on the lot just like the old days.....

Ok gotta go to work now........ more later as it develops........

If I'm not mistaken, (which is pretty easy for me) the last year chrome bumper was 72. 73 molded front and chrome back, 74 no chrome. hp took a nose dive in those years. Sounds like it has good potential for a driver.


I worked on the the property yesterday and a few hours today till I got rained out. My neighbor that has a property maintenance company ran a couple of passes with two different lawn mowers over most of the grass.I got 3 1/2 fence lines out of 4 cleaned up with the weed eater. Already shows a marked improvement. There will be some trees coming out. I still have a lot of weed whacking to do around the trees and the pond area. It's going to be an extension of the nursery and Sue wants to build a home/office on it. If Sue does what I think she wants to do it would cost between 200 and 250k. I'm not a big fan of that but whatever she wants will be alright with me. You know if I went back to work full time we could be making some serious money. That is not going to happen. Part time for me is more than too much. Just saying, if I wanted to chase the money, I wouldn't have to go too far. Being a honey-do is about all I want to do. (kicking and screaming)

Tommy the guberment wants you to go back to work full time.....they need the extra taxes you will send in.....

That is correct on the chrome bumper cars....this one needs to be around 25K instead of 37K.... and it would make a great driver or restomod car.......

Evening guys.....made it to Hutch early enough to make a visit to the funeral home before they took brother over to the church. I was glad we got there, he looks peaceful, not struggling like he was last week.

We went down by where I used to live and where I went to grade school, then out to the mall where we were able to do some walking.

Made it to the church about 5 minutes after the gathering was supposed to start and it was packed. So many people. Meet many of his classmates from school, most I hadn't seen since 1969 most remembered me, most of them I remembered after they introduced themselves.... . It was a good evening.
