Howdy! Semi-gloomy out this morning. The garage seems empty without the Vette, which is hibernating now. Meanwhile, time to start the work-week - the countdown to next week's vacation begins.

Have a good day, yawlz!

You could come to Nebraska and help out with the Harvest...... that would be fun for you..... you could ride in the semi with me....... and we could go to a truck stop for dinner........ anyway that can be an option for you if you don't have any plans......... just saying.......

The weather is perfect here but a month from now all bets are off....... geez not winter already...... sigh.........

Have an industrious day Guru's.......

The debris piles are outa here. Whoo-hoo! Slowly the grass will green up where the piles have been. Signs of hurricane Irma diminish a little more every day. Remember, we weren't even in the worst of it. It was bad but so many have it worse from all the hurricanes this year.

Hey guys....I slept in this morning again, because I was up 'til 1am working on a dam* computer. Lady brought it by saying she had been scammed and they put locks on it and extorted her for some money. Luckily, they did unlock her files. But the malware remained. I tried lots of things to make it all go away and, in the end, I wiped it out and did a fresh install. I was able to keep her files, but it was a long arduous process.

I also got the golf club display case stained and the first coat of finish sprayed.

Glad things are getting back to more normal Tommy. Brad, you could come out here and help me for a week or so, if you have nothing to do. Gris, you're so thoughtful to leave her stuff to do when she gets home.

Cool today, low 60s but really windy. Have a great day guys.

Glad to hear things are starting to look more like normal around your place, Tommy.
We had nothing but rain here the last two days, sunny today. At the shop though, didn't look like it's rained ever. We did the finishing work on the truck today, the man should come get it the next day or two. The real estate agent and a couple other folks dropped by and held us up some. It's all waxed and ready to go home. I never thought I'd ever see the end of that. His 68 Corvette and the dune buggy come over next to get them running on their own then they head to Missouri. Him and his wife secured their next living spot in Columbia, MO and they're moving in June. I'll add one more day to my wrap job schedule for now and see where things go.
Speaking of trucks, around here, anyway they already follow one another 10 meters apart, would be weird to see one without a driver, however.

Shopping for a palm tree that will work in zone 7 and came across this.. apparently plants are border jumpers also and the impending border wall might put a stop to that as well. Had to laugh at the website's jab at the border humor lol

Washingtonia x filibusta (Border Crossing Fan Palm)

These hybrids between the Mexican fan palm, Washingtonia robusta and the US native Washingtonia filifera were a blatant attempt to gain US citizenship and thereby access to Federal social programs for their offspring. These fast-growing hybrids are particularly happy in California and Texas, but have been successfully grown in other mild parts of the country. If you're feeling particularly generous and want to adopt one of these offspring, don't wait since their numbers are limited due to the impending border fence. There was a splendid specimen at the Atlanta Botanic Garden for years until it was killed in a severe winter. (Hardiness Zone 8b-10)
