SUNNY, CALM, AND COOL THIS MORNING, REMINDS ME WHY I LOVE OCTOBER.

THE DOGHOUSE PROJECT CONTINUES, I'VE TAKEN TEEBEE'S ADVICE ABOUT SLOWING DOWN. IF I WAS ANY SLOWER THERE'D BE COBWEBS ON ME :-) I'M SALVAGING LUMBER FROM PREVIOUS ENDEAVORS, THAT SLOWS THINGS UP, AND IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I BUILT ANYTHING I HAVE TO SEARCH FOR WHERE I PUT TOOLS AWAY. THE MEMORY IS THE SECOND THING TO GO.

MAYBE BREAKFAST AT THE WHEELHOUSE WOULD HELP---

Same stuff different day. Sue expressed her desire for me to purchase the ceiling fan and and storage room ceiling light. Good thing I have her around. Don't know what I would do without her direction. ;) I WAS catching up on chores left to the side while building the thing. Guess I'm going shopping today. lol Might as well start the caulking and painting part too.

Morning guys....Slept in, now not getting into any big hurry...taking my own advice. Not quite as chilly this morning, 50 was the low, 55 now and headed to upper 80s. They say the wind is going to blow, but it isn't too bad yet.

Headed to the shop to finish up the gun case. The rep came by yesterday and looked at it, loved it, so I had him take the rifle, it was just a stand in, and asked if I could get the real one, to make sure it actually fit. Later he texts me, that there WAS a minor difference and the actual rifle may not fit. So, I need to either get the gun here, or go out to the dealer who has it (a local farmer, who is in the middle of fall harvest and is really busy) and see what needs to be changed.

Probably headed to the 'city' a little later. Have a great day.

I'd rather get hammered than get bent.

Hi CGs,
I've been keeping myself busy. Car is still not fully assembled. The fuel rail was leaking so I had to order o-rings. Amazing that nobody keeps those in stock anymore. Now I have the orange but not the time. Hopefully soon. It's time to put the car away for the winter.

Hope everyone has a great day.

If you get hammered too hard you end up bent.
Hope everyone has had a good day, was beautiful here so I got the shopping all done, laundry done, stuff put away, kitchen cleaned etc. Chili is for supper and I don't have to cook so win/win.
Tomorrow we will try to 'rest' and take a day off and just sit around. Nursing home Sunday morning and I want to investigate if any of the 'new' takeover people are around. I want to update my booklet of issues and my aunt wants to go with me.
The truck I was working on for the SEMA show has had me so stressed anxiety took over yesterday and most of last night. Trembling, shaking, headache, warm feeling in chest, heart pounding. Nuts. How do you not let things get to you? It's a last minute job and I'm having to do photoshop work that I need much more time to do. And, I don't even have a truck to fit things by I'm just guessing. Truck won't be here till Thursday and I won't have time to measure properly then. Having to use a generic template and they never fit.
Anyway, that explains my absence for the last couple days.
Marcus, prayers for you and all your family. It would be great if we could all go on our own terms. Bravery.
Homecoming here at the local high school, field is a stone's throw from our house now that they've built the new one. Fireworks show possible, I hear em

BREAKFAST AT THE WHEELHOUSE DID HELP. THE DOGHOUSE IS ALL PUT TOGETHER. HAVE TO DECIDE WHAT KIND OF TOP TO PUT ON IT, A SIMPLE LID OR SOMETHING MORE ELABORATE THAT WILL KEEP THE RAIN OUT BETTER.

MARCUS I DON'T BOTHER MUCH WITH NAILS. MY REWIRED HAND HAS NO LATERAL WRIST MOTION SO I'M MUCHO CLUMSY WITH A HAMMER. I PUT THINGS TOGETHER WITH SCREWS AND A POWER SCREW DEIVER.

I DID SALVAGE SOME SCREWS, HOWEVER :-)
