As usual I am up to my neck in things that need to be done around here. Seeing I am an army of one, (Sue is always working), I can keep busy everyday for at least two months. Not too worried about world events, inflation, the stock market or other worldly wonders. I have enough to keep me busy here. Blinders on and as Letty mentioned, one foot in front of the other. The old eating and elephant phrase comes to mind. "One bite at a time." It's always amazing to me how one day the world is firing nicely on all cylinders, the next, chaos. I had other visions of retirement by apparently at that time I was looking through rose colored glasses.

CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, 30 DEGREES HEADED FOR 55, SAY THE WEATHER WIZARDS. SUNSHINE TRUMPS TEMPERATURE :-)

GOT A LITTLE RUNNING AROUND TO DO TODAY, BOOK DUMP AT THE LIBRARY AND OVER TO TAHLEQUAH TO CHECK ON DOG CHEWYS.

GOT THE NEW PHONE FINALLY, NOW HAVE TO ADD CONTACTS. THEY COULDN'T TRANSFER THEM BETWEEN PHONES, AND OF COURSE THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS---A TOTAL PIA! MAY HAVE TO CALL IN THE GRANDKIDS.

AND IN THE NEWS: SOUNDS LIKE WHEN BIDEN WENT TO KISS THE ARAB ASS THEY FARTED IN HIS FACE, AND THE POLES ARE TRYING TO GET THE US DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THEIR MIG DEAL. GOOD WAY TO START WWIII.

Good Morning CGs!

Another cool day but it's clear and the sun is out.

Oil independence is not an option with this administration and gas prices won't go down for the next two years. Sigh.

Good luck with the car sale, Marcus.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I understand gas prices are determined on a global level but I still put the blame with this administration. Policies put in place or removed DO affect the barrel price and kick us in the wallet at the pump. And they could do something to offset it but refuse to. Now the Poles have us in a rock and hard place with their most recent trick. Just keep your head down and move along.
Busy as all get out here again today and just now settling down. Bout to head out and go to the hospital again tonight to see what's going on there. Got a phone call from I guess a nurse today asking about cardiac procedures and crap and I'm out of the loop on some things apparently. I'm bout to get myself IN the loop.
Gris, what kind of phone(s) do you have? If it's an iPhone, you can simply set them side by side, turn on wifi and they'll transfer everything for you all by themselves. Android I have no idea, I'm not into those much.

and, in other news, if you're into gaming, the crew at the IT place next door have this little gizmo - I was over there and one was playing pacman on the big screen. It formats to the size/layout of the screen also it don't just stick a square up there. $40 can't go wrong with it

Hey guys, got to sleep in a bit today as we don't have morning Mass on Wednesdays. But had stuff to do in the shop before heading over to the 'city' to install more paneling and trim on the job I'm doing over there. Delivered a couple small projects I completed for a couple locals before going.

Once over to the 'city', we had to go see GS #1 and help him by airing up a tire on his truck that was flat. Then out to the job to do the work out there. Each piece I put on just made it look that much better. 4 hours later I'm much closer to being done with that job. Rosie took some pictures, I'll get them uploaded and post a couple. while there I made connections with another carpenter who I've admired his work for several years. He's on the jobsite as well, doing work in another part of the building. This is a huge commercial project, so, with my part front and center when you enter the building is gratifying. The connection, might lead to some other work for me ... is that what I really want????

Came home and did some small projects for locals and then cleaned up and went to church foe "Stations of the Cross"

Gas is still below $4 around here, but not for long, I'm afraid.

Came out from Stations and it is blowing hard and snowing...winter is not giving up yet. 3" expected through tomorrow, but will be coming 'down' horizontally.

Enough for me, later guys.
