The headlight repair on the Corvette seems to be working so far. Only time will tell.

Got a chance to drive both the Corvette and the Trans Am yesterday. That's a good day in my book. Trans Am still makes me smile. Sort of makes me wish that the Corvette was a 6 speed as well. But that's not how it is.

Speed shop said I should be able to drop the Corvette off next week. They were waiting for the torque converter to ship which is supposedly Monday (5 weeks after they ordered it). I'm sure it will feel like a totally different car.

DARLING WIFE IS OFF TO FAYETTEVILLE FOR A GET TOGETHER WITH DAUGHTER-IN-LAW. THE OLDEST AND YOUNGEST OF THE ARKIE GRANDSONS ARE GRADUATING THIS YEAR, FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND UofA.

OVERCAST AND WINDY: SOUNDS A LOT LIKE A TWO NAP DAY---

The better fix is getting rid of DST altogether. What a ridiculous concept.

Morning guys...cloudy here in KC this morning, but warm...mid 60 now and headed to upper 70s.

Nothing on our agenda today, except go watch GS in the school play again tonight.

GGD slept really well. Put her down about 10pm and slept through the night and just got up about 7:45am. The fresh air, all the activity around this house must have worn her out.

but Matt.....we need that extra sunshine for corn plants.... and Mama's garden.......

got a half in of rain last night... lots of lightning and boomers..... we will take any moisture except ice from the sky......

today I must get the mowers going.... charging the batteries and checking them over.... and so it begins as the grass has greened up and is getting longer each day...... it beats shoveling snow....

Good morning, another summer pretty day here, rain lurking on the horizon though. Now they say 'severe storms' Thursday night. I'm sick to death of those two words.
hoping to get approvals for two wraps today, plus there's a third about to start printing. Would rather be home by the pool relaxing. but then I'd probably end up messing in the plants or cleaning house, both which need done lol.

Tom, I'm happy to hear your GGD is doing so well. I am optimistic she will do great.


I got in a gas line today. A very organized one. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Other stations near my house weren't fairing so well. Looked to be about an hour wait. The line at the gas station was blocking access to a Canes Chicken place. The restaurant owner was out there helping with the line as well. Cars blocking his drive through lane he said he cost about 10k in business yesterday.
