...our trip to the PNW this weekend has been postponed due to Covid that the kids are having up there.... I always pay a bit more for fully refundable plane tickets and this is why....

so will put our time to good use doing fall prep for winter around the house... manly stuff including chain saws and splitting wood...along with eating of the red meat and potato's ... maybe those buffalo steaks....

we are not giving up Guru's......

I took a fairly active approach to recovery. Today I will tread lightly as I feel an over agressive approach may do more harm than good. Pacing myself more today and giving my body a chance to regroup. Hell, it's only been a week and a day. Of course me beeing me I want it all and I want it now.

take it easy on getting around Tommy, listen to your body. Of course I was the same way, didn't want to be cooped up and throttled back. Raining here today at the office all day, finally rained at home this morning. We got rain up here yesterday too, twice and none at the house yesterday. We all need it. Been dealing with a blizzard of work here today, I swear someone must have sent up a smoke signal or something to let people know I would not be here next week, I've been slammed. Of course that means the owner and his install helper will be slammed even more than they already are next week. Grocery store after work for a few things, then home to do some laundry and pick up a bit, headed out in the morning whenever I get up for our trip

Evening guys, my arse is dragging. Up and out the door early. Marked and cut the fascia boards. Installed a temporary stop against the fascia to hold the decking on the roof while I glued and screwed it down. By noon we had three full sheets up, as I was screwing the third one down when my phone rang. The guy was sitting in front of our house waiting to pick up the Caddy. So I quickly uncovered it and we got it down and he loaded it up and off he went.

Ate a bite to eat and went back down and finished putting the decking on the south side...7 sheets. I was up and down the ladder about 100 times today and my knees are feeling it.

Matt, They gave me just about what I figure...not enough , but what I figured and what was told by the body shop.
