Good Morning CGs!
Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Year's Eve. The kids stayed up late but I was off to bed early. Did wake up briefly around midnight from the fireworks but fell back asleep pretty quickly. 2024 already? Time marches on. Happy New Year to all. Hope everyone has a great day! |

OVERCAST AND 30 DEGREES HERE, A DIM START TO THE NEW YEAR. KIDS ARE ALL STILL ASLEEP, NOBODY STAYED UP UNLESS THE BOYS DID. THEY WILL HEAD BACK TO OKC AFTER NOON. Happy New Year Yall! Amen for hoping this coming one is better than the last. Some of us, just getting through the last one was about all we could do. We got home from the beach about 115 this morning, up at 9, not sure why. Gloomy here and of course, 67 and sunny there. Had a cold spell in the middle of our week, but we did sit out yesterday till about 2 and headed home. I also made a 'bucket list' 6 mike trek along the end of the 'cape' at Cape San Blas, made it, put my palm front out, grabbed about 3 shells and came back. Only 3 because they were all big as my hand, shouldda took a baggie. Now I have blisters on the arches of my feet. Good excuse to stay in my chair today. Might go eat Chinese later, that's gonna be bout it for us.

Happy new Year Guru's..... only the best for you all.... I have been thinking back to the past years and we went through some rough times in the 60's and 80's and so on.... so figuring it will get better or it won't... I will do what I can do to ride out the storms.....
went to bed at the usual time last night and was awakened by fireworks at midnight.... or it may have been semi automatic weapons now the we can get ammo again..... I fluffed the pillow and went back to sleep.... The body will not go where the mind has not gone first.... so think happy thoughts and be hopeful for the future Guru's... |
