All 88s are 35th aniversary Corvettes really, the "Aniversary Edition" is the special one, and it doesnt say its that,
it just says its a 35th Aniversary car, and being an 88, it is.

I wouldnt like to pass comment on the other items you stated, for all we know that work couldve all been done,
and neither of us have seen or driven the car so we are not really in posession of the facts required to
evaluate its condition.

Youre right about the price though, its not worth that even in Australian dollars.

Cant go ahead and judge the condition without looking at the vehicle and evaluating it properly though.

I had already sent them a bogus (no pun intended) saying some of the same things. I didn't leave a real e-mail addy. I believe the 35th anniversary is very misleading. I told them I had just bought my 88 (non-anniversary) about 3 months ago w/only 39k and very clean for only 8k.

Unfortunately, most people think every 1993 model is a 40th Anniversary model as well. They don't realize that there were special trim packages.

Technically, yes... but offically, no. It requires the Z01 package...

There is no way of saying those things have been done, but knowing the average American consumer? They haven't.

They couldn't even take the time to look at the wheels and/or tires.

It clearly has 17' Z51/52 wheels on it.

Someone will buy it not knowing what it is or isn't, and that's what the dealer is counting on.

That is ONLY for the Aniversary Edition, not the Aniversary year, and it IS that, and so is every 88, they are 88s, and 88 is the 35th aniversary of the Corvette. There was no where i saw in that piece that it said its a Z01 or even an "Aniversary Edition".

Knowing them or not, you cant make a judgement on its condition without a proper evaluation. If you sat there and said that about the 87 i sold 3 years ago id be extremly dissapointed, cause it had NONE of the problems you stated above, and none of them had been replaced either. Incredibly enough, it was bought new by an average American consumer. For all you know, that car could be in top mechanical order, but you dont know, cause you havent seen or driven it, so no use making an assumption on 1 photo.

Buying a car from Finks just sounds like a bad idea.

Kinda like buying auto parts from a place we had around here several years ago.......

Stinger Sams.

They went out of business.

With a name like that, it's easy to see why.

All the same, its a pretty corvette.
