Is there any way to change the default settings on the colors of the forum? the light gray with the blue is making it hard for me to see the users name who is posting in the forums.

Thanks,

Also I just added an avatar. It says max size is 300X300. That is WAY too big in my opinion. I went back in and downsized mine. Up to you on the size but 300 X 300 is more of a small picture than an avatar.

I'm trying to figure out the time formatting, including when I set myself to PST, the time still isn't correct for me. We'll add it to the list.

No problem. Take your time. I'll be here forever, I'm not going anywhere. You all are great people and are doing a great job.

Good point, I modified the avatar width. We'll see how that goes.

For the time settings, go to "Edit Account" and set your correct local time zone.

Edit: Ok, I just noticed that even after doing that the time is still 2 hours off for me. I posted too quick

It's all on the list!

Rather minor, really. Just give us a couple of days...

Thanks,

I thought it might just be me. Sucks being color blind imagine not being able to tell the difference between yellow and red lights. I dont like having to be the one its ok to discriminate against. Oh I know lets make it easy color code it.

Although the recent change to improve visibility of member
names is a good try, I feel it overshoots the mark.
Setting the background colour to canary yellow is excessive.

IMO, all that is required is to use the same background fill
as is used for the topic name band to the right of the
member name band. Along with this, change the text colour
to be white.

The net result would give more continuity to the appearance
and be more tasteful (to the eyes of one member.)

Thus:

Resized Image

Looks like you need to add prohibiting Anonymous posters to your list, too ;-)

Thanks for all your efforts!

Hmmm, looks like images are resized after a post is submitted.

The one above displayed properly in preview mode but
once the post was submitted, the image appears to display
at perhaps 80% of original and of course has a distorted
look that spoils the purpose of creating it in the first
place.

Its an automatic shrink(which large images were a major problem on the old site)...all you have to do is click on it and a window will pop up with the full image.
