Figured I'd start off this section.

I've always liked most of the Stoner products
Invisible glass
Tire shine
trim shine

I used to use a lot of stoner products but I gave that shit up years ago.....
I like metal polishes that contain jeweler's rouge. They're super for putting a nice finish on bare aluminum or stainless. I have several brands laying around but they're all the same, really. Just jeweler's rouge in a mineral spirit base.

Engine cleaner - Simple Green
Window cleaner - Homemade
Window water spot remover - Mother's Mag & Alum polish
Underhood rubber detail - WD40

I wonder if the Mother's stuff has jeweler's rouge in it?

I haven't had great success with Zaino's polishes (probably user error), but I like their tire gloss a lot - it leaves a more matte finish, and lasts a long time. Their leather stuff smells good, too.

My door handles were looking kind of tired last summer, so I tried some black leather dye that we had laying around (just the regular kind for shoes that comes with a little sponge applicator on the bottle). Came out great and seems to be holding up well.

McGuire's has always been my favorite. It is time to go after the the swirls that have been slowly emerging through the years. Any advice would be apreachiated. I should mention I have a Porter Cable orbital.

I use Meguiar's Tech Wax on the car and the bikes.
Armorall for black stuff and simple green to de-grease.

I have been sort of nervous thinking about polish Wade/Minnesotawhite on our local forum suggested and has used a 3M polish and had good results. In years past someone usually hosts a annual spring waxing day "Waxapalosa" usually consists of some waxing some beer drinking and eating pretty much in that order.

The adams products work very well. VRT is oustanding, as is the detail spay, and in and out spray. I am currently using the metal polish for my race rims, and it works equal or better than the mothers polish I have used for years.

I have had good luck with Zaino products, expecially Z5 pro for covering swirl marks and their leather stuff for seats. Also am a big fan of Stoner products for glass and tires. Tried some of the Griot's Garage stuff and Meguair's Tech wax on the DDs and had very good results with both. I think a lot depends on how you apply the stuff and the humidity level when you are applying it.

How bad are the swirls... you may need to purchase a rotary if you are working with a dark GM Color.

I really enjoy detailing, its become my second obsession. I really like the Zaino Line, I have 90% of their products. P21S wheel wash, total auto wash, and wax, is also really great stuff if you like carnuba as opposed to sealer systems. I had fantastic success on my 89 with Collinite 845, Red Moose Machine Glaze, 4 Star Swirl Mark Remover, and Danase Swirl Abolisher III this past weekend... in fact, I have pictures to follow coming shorly. Meguiars professional products are also really good for paint correction, but i don't particularly like their LSP line. About too weeks ago, I purchased my first Professional Makita Rotary,... before that i was using a sears rotary which is good for a car or two, but i burned out about 3 of those.

Heres some pics of the Imp after a little Zanio... just a tease, and an excuse for me to post pictures.
