Good Morning Gurus!

I totally spaced the chat yesterday....

I was recovering from my mom's visit.

Here's a cool story:

I dropped my mother off at the airport at 4:30 on Saturday morning. I was coming back from there (my daughter was with me) feeling like I'd just lost about 100 lbs, and blew past a cop doing 62 mph in a 45 zone.

So I pulled it over, and was my respectful self about the whole thing. I figured it was going to be a doozie of a ticket, going almost 20 over...

The officer gave me a unwritten warning! SWEET! Thank you Mr. Police Officer!

Then I ran over a rabbit about five miles from home.... D'oh! Silly rabbit.

As for my recent computer OS upgrade, I did not realize that upgrading to OS 10.5 for Mac renders Photoshop 7 useless... I can't complain too much, as the program is five years old, and I didn't buy it anyway.

But I guess I need to save up for it now.

I am going to purchase an extra 1G RAM today, to bring my poor machine up to 1.5G, and get iLife '08 for the new Garage Band software. Hopefully that all works out nicely.

That's about it for little ole' me.

Have a super day, everyone! Gotta check up on some posts!

Lot's of tasks (as always) to do today. Maybe another cup of coffee will help me eliminate this vacuity. Time to renew my license and get the tags renewed for the boat/trailer and two cars. Then pay some bills and hope the boat mechanic stops by today to check out the engine. She just ain't running right. Nothing mechanical has been an easy fix lately. I must be in a bad moon phase or sunspots or some other galactic phenomenon.

Sounds like you got lucky twice in one day! Buy a lotto ticket!

Well, I am going to try to get to the pool store today. I need to get a mineral pack and a new filter, maybe a couple little things. It's supposed to rain today, so I don't know how long I'll be out there. If I do it today I'll just dump a couple bottles of shock in it and run the pump for a while.

Other than that no big plans. I like being off and not having a plan. Haha. I think I have to clean the house a little bit. It's tough on the wife to have to do it. I did a little yesterday, but it's amazing how messy the house gets and how quickly. I think I have to do some grocery shopping, too. Ah well, we'll see how the day pans out.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

My house almost always looks like a bomb went off at a toy factory.

Sunday it was 81 and sunny, just delightful. Today it is a balmy 59. Nice that summer fell on a weekend.

Yeah, the thunderstorms here are putting a damper on my pool plans for today. I wanted to go for a cruise, as well, but I guess that's a no-no, too.

Hello everyone.

Last day to work for me, until I return from the Power Tour. Whoooo hooooooooo

Gonna take the next two days to go over everything (oil change, clean up, etc.) Then I need to clean my truck up good because wife wants to enter a local show with it while I am gone. She gets a kick out of doing that, even though I work by butt off getting it clean for her.

Will be leaving here Friday morning, headed to Little Rock. I'll be sure and get plenty of Power Tour pictures for you guys.

There are no speed limits during Power Tour.

The nightly burn outs in hotel parking lots bring more attention than speeding.......... LOL
