Good Morning Gurus!
FRIDAY! And I'm leaving an hour early today. BONUS! I put Ruby on the trickle charger this morning, since it's been about a month since I turned the key. Hopefully I'll get to drive it a little this weekend. Anyone have super cool plans to share? I may catch a movie with the kids. And I'd love to get over to 81c3's place to check out his Ruby, and his ZR1. Fingers crossed... |

Looks like another rainy day (and weekend) ahead. Gonna spend some time cleaning up the car this weekend - there's an all-Corvette show next weekend at a local Chevy dealer, should be fun (barring yet more rain).

I think she slept another 4 hours after that. Mom got some well deserved rest, so I'm happy about that. I would still be sleeping, but the BIL called me (lost) and said "where's such and such street" in the middle of Chicago? Huh. I'm asleep...what. How do I know where some random street is? Chicago is huge...duh. So I went to yahoo maps, and after advising him that the street he thought ran N and S actually ran E and W, I had him on his way. Isn't the internet grand??? So that's my ramble...lol. Hung out with my buddy last night who is a vette mechanic on the side. He was working on a beautiful C5 ZO6 doing a brake job. Man, seeing that car make me want to go out and get one! I don't think it's a practical option right now though....lol. Oh well - TGIF for everybody, and hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

Ah Friday......
Only 6 days left this week... I WAS going to relax this weekend, but no sooner did I park the bike and the boss comes out and tells me of a new project - MASSIVE OFFICE MOVE! Several folks moving from 1 desk to another, oh joy.... So, I get to move phones, computers and whatever assorted s**t they leave on their old desks to the new desk. I'm just over-joyed, really..... Work sucks! I want to go to colledge and major in retirement! |
