I'm not talking about pro racing shoes. I'm talking about everyday footwear for the guys with the big feet. Sandals suck, deck shoes blow, work shoes don't work, no pedal feel with running shoes. They do make a driving shoe: Don't they?

I hate clunky shoes in the Vette, especially with a stick. I like Minnetonka moccasins - they're real light, and not bulky at all. I just have their regular moccasins - they also make a driving shoe, which I haven't tried.

I autocrossed in my sneakers once, normally I wear my fire proof driving shoes, my feet got stuck in the pedals! Blew the turn, almost hit a curb, sent the corner workers flying!

NEVER AGAIN!

Try some casual shoes like these adidas ones:

There are lots of different styles - I wear something like that and they are comfortable. I wear a size 12, and haven't had any problems in the vette.

None of those clod hoppers with wide soles, I've hit the edge of the brake pedal while trying to stab the clutch, that's no fun at all.
