With traffic low.

Perhaps it would be easier if they're weren't subsections.

Just keep it simple

In a word, no.

There is an honest expectation that this place will grow. As such, I would rather have some dead sections now than split out threads later.

I can appreciate wanting to expand but there is a lot of competition for an "all gens" Vette site. I think a dedicated gen site might be attractive as more of a "home" for a particular car.

Look, gang... we have been around on this one.

A C4 only site sounds nice to us now, but gee, it's not in the growth thing. It would be just us (I know, that's what we are now), but without much growth.

I do not want this site to stagnate like others have that are basically one running joke and an icky OT.

There are bigger things on the horizon. Just have some faith.

Guys Andy has put ALOT of work in spreading the word out and in time (near future) that is going to start paying off. You will see this site become more active then you thought possible. I think that this site is going to take off like a mo-fo very soon (say 6 months). That is one of many reasons I stick around. I really want to be here when it happens.

I think we should have a seperate section for complaints about too many sections.

I think it would genius to try and merge with other smaller single-gen sites. Obviously that requires a significant compromise and sharing of software, resources, workload, ego. Most people know who the big sites are but choose not to use them for various reasons. You can't expect to coexist with them by mimicking them, if you're only 1% as big.

Screw cars.

I just got an email for breast enlargement creams. I can offer that in addition to the mail order bride suggestion.

On topic, though, I think Andy is right. He has put a lot of time in this, and we have a lot of growth potential. Although c4 guru was cool, there are going to be a lot of guys who move from the c4 to the c5/6/7(?) and will stick around. It is an asset to have it set up this way now, even if they are less active.

I think you guys missed my point

I did NOT say remove the other generation.

I'm talking just have ONE section for EACH generation.
