Good morning CGs!

Thought I'd kick it off early today! I've got a couple extra minutes. Should be a cold and rainy day here in Chicagoland.

Anyone have plans for the day? Exciting news?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

MONDAY MOVIE QUOTE TRIVIA:

Part 1)
In the Movie "Top Gun" what pilot was Tom Cruise's (Maverick's) biggest competition?
Part 2) Name Maverick's partner who died in the movie.

This should be an easy one!

1) Ice Man
2) Goose

Just a normal day here. Going to finish laying the tile tonight for my buddy then hopefully grout tomorrow. Big hopes that this weekend I can install my new LED kit for my instrament cluster on my RC51. ALOT of sodiering involved there.

Good Morning

Nice day here today after the Huricane swept through on Saturday. I think it was a pretty light storm altogether.

Just a few more tasks to get the car started this weekend.

Oh by the way - I siphoned the old gas out of the Vette, about 15 gallons and transferred some to a generator for the storm and the rest into my Toyota.

The Toyota runs fine on the old gas as does the generator. I think the Vette would have been just fine as well.

Cheers - hope you all have a good day.

Oh speaking of gas, me and my buddy were trouble shooting a lawnmower the other day. At one point we by-passed the inline fuel filter by using a bic pen (the kind you screw in the middle) well let me tell you....that should only be a quick fix IE less than 5 mins. The plastic pen MELTS!

Today one of the original leather seats on my 85 finally tore. I'm surprised they made it this long.

Now I need to decide whether I want to buy another 23 year set of seats for a grand, or buy a knockoff that won't last as long, or get a $2 roll of duct tape. (Or get race seats!)

I rode my Superhawk for the first time in a week, that's a long stretch for me. I put a '00 R1 rectifier on it. If/when yours fails, stay away from the Honda unit. The other one I tried was defective too.

Or you could get your seats re-done at a pro shop. You put a recti-what on your bike....lol

Back in the office today as all the convention-goers and anarchists have left town. I liked my commute better last week - just walked down the hall.

I'd like to thank my wife, kids, mom and dad, god, and all the spare time deployments have given to me to watch movies over and over again.
