That's the feeling I get when I look up and realize that background noise is actually a downpour and remember my vette is parked in the driveway with the roof off.

I think I set a new personal record at 45 seconds in putting the roof on.

Even a few minutes of a heavy downpour does a number to the interior though. Just got back from mopping it up.

We're not supposed to have weather in San Diego!!!

From personal experience.

Never EVER leave you top off while it's unattended outside.

About 15 years ago, I had a 92 Prelude Si. It had a sunroof.

The sunroof on that car went out over the roof, instead of inside the roof. This meant it had a tilt up feature that allowed for ventilation without opening the roof all the way.

I was driving back from Sebring and stopped at a BK for lunch somewhere near St. Augustine, FL. There was a dark stormy cloud several miles off, and I figured all would be fine.... so I left the roof tilted open.

No sooner than I sat down, hell broke loose. The skies opened and it was flat out pouring... and my roof was tilted open!

I finished eating and ran out to the car. It was still pouring... well... unbeknownst to me, the roof had a rather deep panel that spanned the gap from the trailing edge of the roof and opening of the hole! Not a drop got in. Nada.

I was shocked.

Did the same thing on a C3 I had. That was over a decade ago. Haven't done it since.

Well, I guess the 12" of snow forcasted here for tonite/tomorrow wouldn't be too bad then. Could shovel it out before it melts.
But then again, the car is in the garage, covered up for the next 4 months.

Well, I guess pouring rain is better than fighter jets falling out off the skies.
I hope the F18 was far away from your neighborhood.

Ya' gotta' be entrepreneurial about it.

Take a collection from all the local farmers, and make a guarantee of rain.

Go home, pull the top, and hit the sack.
