Long term test.

I still think it is an ugly car. Great performance though.

Geez for $1,140 worth of transmission fluid for every change I could just NOT buy a GTR and go get a flat screen.

That's why you should buy a vette with better performance and cheaper oil changes

That's certainly not the only reason...it's more like reason #148 on an ever growing list of reasons why someone should buy a Vette, and ironically reason #89 is "Because it's NOT a Nissan."

LOL.

Hey Matt if it makes you feel any better reason #3 is "Because it's NOT a Honda" and Ford is somewhere up in the teens under Kia and Renault.

I wonder what the bill will be when the gadgets start to fail.

Ask the guy who turned off traction control and blew up his transmission and had to pay for it out of pocket...

Gadgets? What about the high end Euro cars? MB, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls, Bentley... with all their central computers and bespoke gizmos... that's where it gets $$$$.

A good example, Ferrari 348. The AC system has a small digital controller. Sure, it was made by a third party, but they are not allowed to make them and Ferrari isn't providing them anymore. Guess what, the module breaks, and the AC is done... explain why your Italian sports car's AC is dead... uh huh.

I have a friend who is a nissan salesman. I asked him about that and he said the guy is a turd who didn't follow the manual, skipped all the maintenance, yadda yadda and has been badmouthing the car on the internet. I still think it's crappy they didn't cover the trans (something like $20k, right) but I guess he brought it on himself.

That's right - his version, nissan's version, and the real version.
