Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's the big day around the house:

Samantha's First Bday!

:occasion2: :occasion1: :occasion7:

Have a decent sized gathering planned for a little later in the afternoon. Did all kinds of fun stuff yesterday. Finished putting the roof on the "new" shed, moved all the lawn gear from the garage to the shed, moved a giant metal cabinet from the basement to the garage for my car parts, cleaned the garage a bit, cleaned the basement and rearranged some furniture, went to Wallyworld and bought some new landscape lights, and got the grass cut. Oh, and I was up at 7 am yesterday cooking some Swedish meatballs for the party....yuuuuum. So all in all, it was a busy, productive day. Even got to drive the vette to the store. Can't beat that with a stick.

How was everyone's Sat night? We sat around and watched James Bond movies and then hit the sack.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Gurus!

Happy Birthday, Samantha!

Yesterday was my youngest's 5th birthday. He is currently in a scissor phase. He can sit for hours and slice paper to ribbons. So we got him a caddy with 20 different scissors that have different cutting edges on them. He got other cool stuff from us, as well as other relatives, but so far all he really wants to do is sit on the floor and destroy construction paper.

He cut a nice chunk of his own hair out a few weeks ago, so we had to have a chat about that, but all is well now.

Today I have to get up on the roof to work on what passes for A/C here in Pueblo. A large humidifier. They call 'Em swamp coolers. You have to take them apart in the winter, and futz with them in the summer. Someday I will live in a house with central air again...

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Happy Birthday to Samantha and belated Happy birthday to Anthony. My almost 4 year old granddaughter's favourite song, and I'll bet most of you can sing it too.
Have a good one guru's

Happy Birthday to all the kids - they sure are fun to watch when they're young! I have a feeling that someday I'll put cake in my hair again on my birthday.

I didn't do anything yesterday, and was good at it - we had my son's graduation ceremony in the morning, and then out to dinner with the family later, with a bunch of sitting around and a nap in between. I'll make up for it today - it'll be back to cleaning up the engine bay and a little yard work.

We have great weather here today in the PNW. Temps in the mid to high 80's. We are going to the Evergreen aviation & space museum.
Happy Birthday to all who have them this weekend. Those first birthdays are special ones. Take lots of pics Mat.
I agree time does fly by.

Have a great guru day all.

Mike and Ellen.

Afternoon Gurus....not much going on here today. Yesterday afternoon we had graduation, and then we made our appearances at the parties we had been invited to, ate lots of food.

Today I spent the morning out in the shop cleaning and prepping for my first big project of the summer. A set of kitchen cabinets for my in-laws. I hope to have them started by the end of the week (waiting for materials to come in, and for cr@p at school to slow a bit), and I am planning on having them built, finished and installed by the end of June.

Hey CGs, thanks for the well wishes! Was a successful party, everyone had a good time. Just finished cleaning up and sat down for a minute to relax. Still more to be done tomorrow, but that's tomorrow.

GN CGs!
