DRM reintroduced/made another run whatever you want to call it their Camber and Trailing arm brackets.

After what seemed like a long time and many threads drumming up interest DRM finally got them back in stock. I hope that met the projected sales goal, because I hope that shows there is still interest (make that viable customers with $$$) in C4 speed/performance parts.

Finally I'm reaching the point of my thread......what unavailable performance/speed part should get reintroduced (make sure its something you want and are willing to pay for) as for me I'd like to see it produced in the good old USA.

So what do you need in order to continue on the never ending quest for more speed and better handling that is no longer available?

I don't know about a specific part off the top of my head that needs to be reintroduced, but how about making some parts more reasonably priced? IE, an air pump eliminator that costs $150 for two pieces of metal and a bearing/pulley? Seriously?

What exactly do you need to eliminate the AIR pump? I yanked all of that stuff off of my car at the same time (AIR, EGR, ASR, cruise control, etc) so I didn't look at any of the systems individually...

I bet I could make a kit for $150.

Almost nothing, that's why it's ridiculous it costs $150 (and more for some kits!)

No, but another company is making the FIRST intake, haven't heard much feedback on it, though. Superram was plagued with a lot of install problems, from what I've read. Never put one on so I can't comment with personal experience.

Then build it yourself. All it takes is a McMaster-Carr catalog, a hacksaw, a drill and a tape measure.

But, I agree that the prices businesses charge for some of this stuff is unreal. Some of it is adding unnecessary fluff. Polishing or chroming, for example. I hate chrome, and don't really care about polish where my engine or suspension parts are concerned... just make it work.

Well the vendor does have to pay the bills

Just because we can get our cars cheap, cheap now anyways, doesn't reduce his costs.

Why, not enough volume???

Too bad there is not a positive displacement option for C4 LT1s. I installed a K B on a buddies cobra (4th of July weekend) and it was pretty simple, relatively painless, provided a decent kick in the pants and looks so darn cool

I would have bought a screw type supercharger if they made one for an LT1 (maggy, Kenne bell etc)

14 lbs of intercooled boost would be a nice little power adder on a lower compression AI headed 383
