New photos of my car. Changed from Chrome sawlblades to the black ZR1's. IMO the new wheels make the vette stand out more because it seems to be less Blingy. (Is "Blingy" a word? lol)

I love the look of your car though I have never liked black or painted rims.

I saw a Grand Sport C4 that had chrome wheels and it was awesome looking...IMHO, much better than the black.

They goth look great, just two completely different characters. I've been considering getting a similar black set for my car, too.

I like both of them, but it's going to take a little while to get used to the black wheels, I had the Chrome sawblades on it for 4 years. Still weird to me seeing my car without them.

The darker rims we so you don't notice brake dust as much.

Where did you buy your rims? Are they the 9" front and 11" rears? I have been looking at the very same ones

Looks great! I'm not normally a black wheel fan, but it does look good on some cars, yours included!

I bought them from OE Wheels, They are 9.5" all around. My tire sizes are still staggered though, 255's in front, 285's in rear.

DB, that hurts my feelings. No more rides for you!

VetteUSA, I think either looks good.

Oh c'mon...just because I don't like painted wheels doesn't mean I don't still want to make love to your car. LOL. I'm just an shiny wheel guy. I totally respect your wheels and they work perfectly for your car. Don't take my opinion as a reflection of how I view your car.

Oh, you know me better than that. I'm not offended easily. Now if someone made fun of my airbox, that would be another story ...... LOL.
