As I look at the cars all of which are winners in my book, I have a few questions or comments. On Rons car what are those rods that run along the side? I know they must be for less flex but they interest me. Is Steve's car a ZR-1 40th? That would be rare! Jon I am suprised you don't haul your kit around with a Duramax Allison set up.....I sure like mine. Just wondering about stuff.......

Yeah, good idea Matt! I want someone else to do the R & D and all I have to do is bolt it on and go faster. I would like someone to make a kit for a drop in LS3 now that would be cool.

Good morning fellow Americans and overseas Guru's. Cool and cloudy out which is no way to start the holliday. I also am a social phobe but do make the rounds occasionally when there is no way out. Since I abstain from drinking it is harder for me when everyone else is slamming them back and getting loose. I know a lot of folks who can't socialize without a drink to help them to overcome their shyness.

I know when I am with a crowd that is into either motorcycles or cars then I really enjoy being in the mix because we all have something in common. I would have a lot of fun at any of your houses and you would think I was a great guy who you would love to invite back because I am so funny and wise.......nevermind!

The lawn has taken over and we must find time to hay it today. I am thinking of getting a round bailer to go over it after we cut it to make a little money on the side. To much rain.

Here is what I used that was more expensive on the deck but no more work after it's done. Rhino Deck for the big stuff and Aeratis is what is going on the front porch, soon real soon.......

Wow, I am already intimidated by the cars in the car show and there are only 3 of them so far. TB's and Don both have the coolest interiors and the paint job on Tommy's second car is real nice. Oh well, I got to get mine on maybe I cought the light just right......

Friday is here and we are still catching up from the days that it rained last week and it may rain agian today. It is much cooler out. Other than work not a lot going on.

Ultraboys baseball team did not do so hot last night and they face a tougher opponent today. Where we live some high schools have a baseball program and some don't. Ours doesn't but we have to play Legion teams from towns that do have High school ball and they are always tough because they have been playing together all spring.

My job is to encourage and point out the good things that they did......

I heard it was going to be a 5.3 or a 5.5 direct inject and blown V8. I don't think it will be overhead cams but 10K r's is easier with overhead cams I'm thinking. I hope the car doesn't look weird.

If Tommy is boring then I am boring Jr. I usually am so tired by this time I just want to putt around the place getting caught up on stuff. My son plays legion ball so there will be a ball game or two. Some nice drives in the 90 would be in order along with a large steak.

@TB.....We had the big hail storm last saturday and a bunch of rain now for two days. We came out of the hail storm in good shape. It ain't over till it's over....

Hmmmmm interesting analogy Bob, one I will not try and think of a lot today......I am up early to check on rainfall around the area and see that we have another round coming at us.

Yesterday I drove the Vette into the Capital city to stop by my accountant and do some other chores. My wife said it was a fun day for me. I was worried about getting rained on but the skies cleared up and the humidity came up enough that I had to run the air. That sucks some power out of the engine. What do you lose 5 or 10 horsepower? Anyway it was kinda a fun day for me.

Today will depend on the weather but I'm betting we will be getting more rain. Have a good day doing what you do Guru's!

Bad news down in Joplin, up to 116 dead at this time. I see that this is the most folks that have died from tornados since 1953 and the season is still young. I also see the Red Cross and Salvation Army are running out of funds so the Guru's might consider chipping in. Can't hurt and maybe Andy could add a link to the donation fund so we could contribute from the Guru. Just thinking....I know we are about a lot more than just cars and stuff.

Gotta roll, you guys have a good day doing what you do, and be thankfull for it.

Church and small group today then we will see what the weather does. Yesterday after we got done mowing I went down and cleaned up my 90. When I got back I was going to just leave it out so I could use it to go to the graduation celebrations that some folks had on Saturday. I decided to pull it in to the garage and came inside to get cleaned up.

About 15 min later I hear these loud noises hitting the house. I looked out side and there is some hail coming down. Not a lot and not fast but they were golf ball or better in size. Nuts! Am I glad I put the car in. It lasted a few minutes and then quit.

We live on the edge of town and since it rained also, we took the Tahoe in to the graduation parties and when we got about a half mile from our place the whole area was just a mess with down tree limbs and leaves and cars beat up and windshilds out. Could not believe it! Just that far away it had hailed a ton and all of them were golf ball to baseball size. A lot of folks are out visiting and going to the parties and a lot of folks have the tables set up in the garage so a lot of cars were outside that would have been inside.

First place we went the guy had all three of his windshilds knocked out and the cars all dented up. A lot of the older cars will get totalled because it won't pay to fix them. Lots of new roofs also I am thinking. Ahh life in the great plains.... We got by lucky this time. Only a few dings on our stuff.

Welcome to the Guru Ron! Hang on, someone with knowledge of that will be tuning in soon I am sure.

I can't figure how they control it. Is it on a wire? Not a real wire but an electronic one. If the guy is controlling it how can his reaction time be quick enough?

It seems to me that there is not enough weight to hold the car on the track at speeds over 150 mph and that the track surface would have to be really smooth. The whole idea is pretty cool!

What's a browser thief? Congrats Tommy on 12K posts. I am interested in how you got started on Guru. Were you a newby like everyone else or did you come over with the others that had gotten banned? Have a good drive today!

Go for it Bill! Sunshine and blue skys and it looks good for a Sat morning. Clean out the shop day and some mowing in order when the grass dries up a bit. Then the 90 gets a complete clean up, then maybe some pics.

That should take up most of my day, what are you guys going to do? Whatever it is take it easy.
