good morning gurus. had a hell of storm come through yesterday. blew some roofs off in the subdivison. blew the top off of the patio table and shattered it. glass all over the patio. cleaned it up. thanked the good LORD thats all we had in damage. today the sun is shining brightly hope its a good day

Mmmmmmm gee thanks Tommy......I'm thinking that's the only song he ever did. It's big Tuesday which means we are up and outa here early. Got lots to do. The weather is nice which helps.

Bad news down in Joplin, up to 116 dead at this time. I see that this is the most folks that have died from tornados since 1953 and the season is still young. I also see the Red Cross and Salvation Army are running out of funds so the Guru's might consider chipping in. Can't hurt and maybe Andy could add a link to the donation fund so we could contribute from the Guru. Just thinking....I know we are about a lot more than just cars and stuff.

Gotta roll, you guys have a good day doing what you do, and be thankfull for it.

Oh... stretch! I overslept!

Storms...I hate them. I live in an area where we get high winds frequently off the bay and I cringe every time the wind picks up over 60mph. My heart goes out to those people that have lost their homes and loved ones. Again, we have another disaster that people have to learn to pick up and start over. Its really scary because it happen anywhere and at our own front door. It would be devastating.

Yes.. glad your Ok too Rich! Same thing happened to my sister a couple years ago with her glass outdoor table. We were at her house for a picnic/visit and a storm came up. She told my BIL to go out and secure the table. He said..."it's not going anywhere". Oh well... You know what it looked like ten minutes later.

Well.... the car started, then sputtered. coughed and stopped several times. The battery died just trying to start it. It kept clicking.. then would start. I put a battery starter on it and tried starting it again, but something in the charging system is hosed. Mick confirmed this when looking at the data scans last night. I had erratic voltage all over the place during the few short starts that the engine made. So, I'll be taking both the battery and charger to AutoZone to have them checked and possibly replaced. Moving Forward.

Good Morning CGs!

Actually hit the road last night and did a short run. Got home from work and took rugrat #1 in the running stroller. About 1 1/2 miles to the park, 20 minute break so we could play, then 1 1/2 miles home. Not too bad overall, but I'm a little tight in the muscles all over this morning. Should loosen up as the day goes by.

Rich - sorry to hear about the storms, but glad you are ok!

Don - sounds like the battery died from sitting. Did you have it on a tender? I'm sure you'll get it worked out soon...don't fret!

Morning guys...I'm up, I think. I'm feeling a bit like Tommy this morning, achy-breaky. Elbow hurts, knees hurt and I have that desk unit to install today, not seeing that as too much fun in my condition. But at least I have a condition, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Weather here is supposed to be seasonably cool and maybe, just maybe, a chance for a shower or two.

Rich glad you came out of the storm with relatively minor damage. Oh, Tommy, I fought the urge to click on Billy Ray, so that song is not running through my head. Have a great day Marcus....

I took the Camber-Brace and Cross-Frame off the car last night. The Camber-Brace is a PITA to remove, but I figured I'd rather do it than pay someone else to, if they need access to the front of the engine for anything. It almost seems roomy in there now - LOL!

I'm with Tom, no clicking on *lalalalalalalalalalalala* for me, either. ;-)

It's sprinkling a little and looks like it could actually rain. Not holding my breath, but hoping. I got the desk unit all installed and the computer back up and running, the client is happy. I forgot to take my camera to get pictures of the final product. Maybe I'll run back out there and do that.

Oh Tommy, just drop in to see what condition my condition was in.....and I wasn't in any condition to judge my condition.
