Without ever seeing the condition of these cars you never know what they were worth. After playing around with my 85, I think I overpaid at 1k.

If you have Direct TV, you have no versus. They had a contract dispute and walked away from the table.

At least it gives hope to World Challenge for decent coverage. Speed butchered their show into nothing. Unless it's Nascar, Pinks or Pass Time, your on air coverage from Speed is going to suck.

And do you have any good/decent spares that can still be of use? I'm interested.

I've got a vehicle that I am trying to adhere to cost based rules, I'm looking for free or as close to free as i can get. Please let me know.

Or if FIC wants to do some sponsorship on this crap can race car I'm willing :D

I thought he was looking a little bit more like Billy Mays.

He definitely does not fit the profile of a "Coach" but then again with Favre really running the offense, I guess he just has to worry about the defense.

One was for sale on Ebay a while ago. They really are nothing special. I could have sworn the number was lower. 50-60 cars.

Recall is for all 2005-2007 Coupes. Z06 included.

2005 - 26,728
2006 - 16,598 Z06 - 6,272
2007 - 21,484 Z06 - 8,159

So 79,241 units at 1,500 per roof (Does this include dual roof equipped cars?)

Total $118,861,500

After the last upgrade change or whatever there was a huge issue with the search function. It didn't work for weeks. It took the forum sponsors to start complaining as they couldn't search for their brand to answer questions on their product. It was not until several said they were pulling out that IB finally put man power on the problem and solved it.

To be a sponsor to sell is 300 bucks a month, tuner shop 330, and to sell cars was like 5k per month.

I will do a manual bleed after installing and tightening down the lines. I put a wrench on the bleeder screw and leave it open (yes some fluid will drain out) but depress it against the oil pan or some other surface, then close the bleeder and then pull the slave off the object I was depressing it against. Then I just pump the hell out of the pedal.

Some people get all worked up on this shit. It's not hard.

You have dirty nasty fluid in there, undo the bleeder line, let it all run out. You want to get some new fluid in to flush out any impurities, water decomposed rubber, etc.

You should just be able to use your hands to compress it. Or just crack your bleeder valve open a smidge.

Flange on the aftermarket is thicker than the original which causes one problem. You can either grind on the flange, or get new longer studs.

But, you can slid it in at an angle, just make sure you get the tip on the cup of the pivot arm and then use pressure to get it to seat.

For who, the car you park next to?

Aftermarket doors and not Lambo doors. The Lambo doors are a true scissor style that only have one plane of movement. Straight up. All the aftermarket kits make you open the door conventionally 3-4 inches, then swing up and further out. In other words, look like shit.

BTW, Lambo doors are so played out Lambo doesn' use them.

Called an open differential. Basically you only get one wheel that locks up. So if you have one wheel in the air you are screwed.

Must have an LSD unit to spin both wheel.

AT&T promised the world when it signed the contract with Apple. Nobody bitches about the iPhone. It's the service issues with AT&T. The combination of dropped calls, lack of coverage outside of large metropolitan cities. When you sign the contract you are not told any of this. One of things you were promised was unlimited download. Now you signed a contract, and now they want to change it on you because they did not realize there was going to be a problem.

Screw AT&T, and well all cell phone companies as well.

I found the opposite. I much preferred the Germans over the French. Especially the Parisians. Once you got outside of Paris, the French people were better. As far as the Autbahn, it is bliss. It is a shame Americans are fricking lazy inattentive and keep their car in such piss poor shape to take advantage of a highway system like that. It was torture coming back to the states and getting on our crappy roads. But I could not imagine paying the taxes over there.

The highlight of the week was a visit to the Porsche Museum in Stutgard. A lovely place that I highly recommend. I will post some pics shortly.

The Porsche Museum makes the Corvette Museum look like a rinky dink county fair. The way things are set up where you can actually walk up to the cars, look in and check things out is great. Nothing is really barricaded off. I really hate to say it, but you missed out by not going to the Mercedes Museum, which is about a 10 minute drive from Porsche. And you really missed out by not going to the AMG facility.

Well, let me go on a little bit of a rant.

There are fucked up people, both male and female. The percentage of humans who can suppress their urges to screw anything is low. I personally do not believe that humans were meant to be with one person forever. We change so much from the time we are born till we die, that we are often nothing like we thought. Think back to when you were 20, then to 30 and so on. I look back at my grandparents who married for life, and I just don't see it. The only reason I can think why is they were indoctrinated into believing that via religion.

I have become very jaded against women in general mainly because every woman I have met has just been gold nugget grubbing bitch. When I go out on dates, I take the truck. We go to a medium price establishment to eat, so it's not like I'm throwing money around. But it's amazing to see their difference when they find out what I have in the garage and the places I have been and am going. It's like a light switch goes off and they change.

With that I have found that I don't want a relationship. I have also found the best women in the world to screw around with are the married ones. Most are too damn scared to get attached and leave their current husbands. So I have a good time and they leave. I get no drama.

Now you might be a catch, but the selection pool of men that you are getting in Arkansas is not the pinnacle of dating life. Which is part of the problem. It might be worthwhile to open up the dating scene in Memphis.

Find a new tire shop. I have thrown a weight once or twice in my time at the track. But street use they are fine. The barrel of the wheel just needs to be wiped down to clean the spot.

Just because it has been around for a long time, does not make it good. Oldsmobile was around for 107 years.

The fighting between GM companies was insane. But I know people who will buy a GMC Sierra but refuse to buy a Silverado. Weirdos.

I just picked up an Alpine 9887 to replace the 7930 deck that I have had for almost 15 years now. I am dissatisfied with the look of the current Alpine decks, but I will suffer. Trust me, even with the new decks, you will want a separate power supply. If you drive with the windows down or the top off, you are going to need at least 40w. I pulled all the interior out, installed some sound deadener, steam cleaned the carpet and am running all the wires again. It's a current WIP, and I had to abandon the project to get on a customers car.

BTW, I second what Andy said about not letting anybody touch the car to do audio work. They are all hacks!

You've got something else going on other than the chip. You have a loose wire or a sensor that is not triggering a SES code.

With his car stock, an off the shelf chip is all he needs. There really is no need to data log. You can only do so much with a stock vehicle with the PROM. Alvin can hit the tune pretty much spot on and if Dale wanted to hit a dyno, and do a custom tune and spend a couple hundred bucks more and get a minimal horsepower gain.
