We bench bleed the clutch master cylinder and then used the Motive power bleeder. That was on the 3/4 Wilewood master cylinder to the hydraulic throw-out bearing.

This was the best up grade I did for my 87. The Motive power bleeder was easy and did a great job.

Wow after fabing push rod pedal push rod bracket going everywhere to make brake lines 1/4" lines fit adapter on Wilwood 3/4" clutch master cylinder. I am so impressed with the feel of the pedal I think someone else must have done the job for me.

Next install the LT1 exhaust pipes. Wish there was someone near by to paint my vet. Everyone wants a small fortune to do the job.

it is the blue wire
check voltage at maf sensor wire it is on that chart the voltage is also
if it is higher than the reading the problem is in the maf sensor. The computer and the relay plugs didn't make any difference. They all worked great in my 87
good luck fixing mine took over 3 months at a friends shop that drove him nuts

The stud on the pedal that hold master cylinder rod on is shot. I was trying to find a Diagram of the assembly. I have found a gm diagram that looks like what I need to do but not sure if it is the same on mine.

Not sure but I think only one bolt holds it in place. Because of high blood pressure and getting sick as a dog on my back I want to be as ready as possible to do this

The stud on mine looks a lot worse then this one. The hole on the push rod is almost broken through

Just bought Motive Power Bleeder #0101 Chrysler and list the wildwood 3/4" round 260-1304 master cylinder. Replacing the 1/2 " master cylinder because the hydraulic throw-out bearing is finally not always engaging properly . Bleeding this is a pain in the butt. So I go on line find the right one for mine. JEGS has free shipping and that makes it cheaper. Call them to make sure this is the right one.

I open the box and know it is the wrong bleeder cap.I call service tell them the problem is. The sales men claims he just opened the same items he has there they fit and I need to call Motive Monday and tell them my problem.
I go on line to Motive look up adapters for Wilwood and there is the correct one for $39. $5 shipping from Gilroy Ca. I live in Ca so it should be here soon.

the numbers have changed on relays over the years
auto zone carries them just take old one with you if it looks the same that will be the one. best thing to do is replace the maf relay and burnoff relay at the same time. I have 3 or 4 sitting around the garage they are cheep. if you replace the old one and still have code you can always take it back and get your money back.
ecm changed numbers also have one on ebay for $30 or 40 dollars I was running it in my 87 with an 89 prom they are tough.

Because you have a manual. The issue with the an auto is the throttle valve cable runs underneath the superram plenum and comes out at a bad angle causing it to bind with the stock bracket.

Didn't know he had an auto.
enough junk down there already. Hope your suggestion works. Sounds like it would.

87 Corvette clutch pedal Switch

Found my starting problems . Losing 4 volts at startup from switch. 8 volts only coming through most of the time. Not enough to turn over starter. Had a feeling it had nothing to do with the vehicle antitheft control.
Does anyone have a part number the correct name or where to find one. I assume it is dealer only and not made any more.

Cylinder 5 Bosch 3 no fire leaking or broken o ring. My buddy tried to find gaskets for the super ram and didn't ask me first. He said no one sell them. Lol I dropped off two of them still in the box from our site. I explained how simple installing the super ram was showed him pictures from my two installs. All he could say was looks like a pain in the butt. I told him the second time was a lot easier. That was when we dropped a bolt into the intake manifold. Love my HF scope worked perfect.

As for the voltage problem good battery, good connections . We have decided to install a system to bypass the clutch switch so we will always have 12 volts to the starter when the key is turned. The kit has a name I forgot what it was.
Now that it is in his shop the ac pump or ac clutch is making a loud noise.

John is an awesome mechanic and is someone I trust.

Now my friend at his shop has been told that on 87 c4 there is a problem in the prom that causes these vehicle to throw intermittent 36 codes and flashing the prom will fix it with the proper informatiom. Never heard of it. Tomorrow I am having him call Alvin of PMC of NC to see if they have heard of this problem. I trust them as they have done a great job on tuning my vet for all of it's up grades

Monday I had the nuclear stress test. In stead of running on the tread mill they gave the drug. It is a 5 minute think. At 2 minutes my blood pressure dived. I could see my face in the mirror turning gray as I have seen as people died in front of me. My valves released and I crapped in my pants lol. They had the crash cart ready to go as they were using the drug to counter act the other drug. Reminded me of my rookie year when we pulled two junkies out of a bathroom in a park after they shot up with heroin and over dosed .
Result of test monday

On step 2 the light comes on when engine running. It also clicks on and off for a second when key is in turned with out engine running. Should both lights be on with out engine running. Now that I changed plugs at burnoff relay my code reader will not connect.

FWIW, when my MAF failed on my 85, the car would sputter trying to start but would not catch. It didn't run long enough to even throw a code. Note the 85 MAF is different than later years, so probably not worth much.

I replaced the maf with a reman autozone unit, and it was either the same or no fire at all, can't remember.

The 2nd replacement MAF though fixed it. Very frustrating to have new parts be bad, makes diagnosis a bitch.

An import I worked on with a bad MAF would only crank, nothing else.

Do you have the FSM flow chart?[/quot

Lap top down that is where flow chart is
This is the second MAF
