My beloved Lauren turned 31 today. She was born in Bowling Green on Friday, November 16th, 1984. My wife Ivelis and I woke up together at 5:30 AM. While she headed off to spin, I did not do my usual early Monday morning run. Rather, I showered, dressed, and took Lauren out for a short drive on this cold but clear November morning. We stopped at McDonald's, where I ordered that most eighties of all breakfast meals—an Egg McMuffin. Afterwards, I took her back home the long way.
