Takin' me longer than I'd planed, but my bodies older than I'd like to admit. But then sanding will force a man to admit it.

I tried loading pics with the browse - upload thing but nothing shows up. Anyway, it's the 79' all primed and ready for wet sanding. If I survive it, I'm hoping to get the paint on Sunday.

I'll post some more invisible pics then. LOL

Donnie, if you're uploading and nothing shows up, the pics are too large and you need to down size them.
My pic software has a resize button that comes up when I view my pics at full screen.

Microsoft has a Powertoy software that is a simple right click resize. I can email you the install file for the program if you like. I just need your email address.

Thanks guys. I have what I need on my comps, but they're all at the shop and my laptop took a dive on me so I'm using my wife's. Zero fun programs. She actually uses her laptop for work.

Doesn't look any different from any other 79' all primed up. I'll get some shots up soon.

If anyone wants they can see them on my Face Book thing.
Just search for Donnie Gill. You can even be my friend.....aint that special. I do like F.B. though.

If you hit me up on there just type Guru in the message thing so I'll know where you're from.

Matt, my e-mail's donniegill@gmail.com

Email sent. Let me know if that program works out.

Why don't you upload your pics to Photobucket and post the links. I find that much easier.

OK Let's try the PB thing.
It's ready to tape back up, wipe down and spray. Maybe tomorrow if the booth is empty.

The darker gray is where I sanded through the sealer primer and went back and spot primed.

Had to re-prime. My bud wouldn't let me spray with all the swirl marks I missed cause I can't see s&#$ anymore. We blocked it down tonight and the paint goes on in the morning.

I'm letting him spray, cause like I said, I found out I can't see nearly as good as I thought I could. I did custom Harley paint for 9 1/2 years, and don't remember how many cars and trucks I've done. But it's been about 16 - 17 years since I've sprayed.

Time to pass my torch. That's cool though, that's the way of it.

I understand the vision depreciation thing completely. It can be a good thing. Every car looks great from 10 feet. That, and you won't be able to notice the orange peel.

Kidding ...... Just kidding ......

LOL, I wouldn't quite go *that* far, but I still think it's looking pretty good!

Didn't get to paint today. Been dealing with a water leak all night and this morning. Got home from sanding last night about 10:30pm and the upstairs toilet feed line had been leaking all day and night. I didn't notice it till about 1:30am because I hadn't gone upstairs till then.
It flooded the upstairs bathroom, went through to the bedroom below and came out where the ceiling fan is, straight on to the mattress. That's why I didn't hear it when I came in.
Totally soaked the mattress and all that goes with it, onto the area rug, through the hardwood floor into the basement.

Oh well, situations occur. More important things to worry about......like I didn't get to put the paint on today.

Nice! Yeah, there's always something interfering with important stuff, like working on the Vette.
