Good Morning CGs!
Hi, my name is Matthew, and I'm a vette-a-holic. I think that's how chat should start from now on. I didn't have the 79 in the driveway more than 20 minutes and I already had tools in the damn thing taking stuff apart Wife wasn't happy, but I enjoyed it. Dad helped get the door panels off and my buddy Rick stopped by later in the night. Got the ignition swapped out and 1 1/2 door cylinders changed out. Those GD e-clips on the back of the cylinders are a real PIA, let me tell you. I might need to remove the DS door handle to get the other one reinstalled. Oh well. Projects all day long! Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

Hello everybody. I'm Tommy T and I'm a vette-aholic. My addiction actually preceeded my ownership by about a year and a half. I read and searched for information before finally pulling the trigger in 2002. From the beginning I started purchasing replacement items. Floor mats, emblems, wheel caps, shifter knobs and so on. Little did I know I was on an never ending staircase that would trigger bouts of depression resurfacing with overflowing joy as new replacements and repairs were completed only to be followed with another list of items that needed attention. My wife has fallen into the same vicious cycle and at the present we are codependent. Through my daily meetings and sharing with the group I am able to cope with my swings from despair to elation. I know that the catalyst is only a turn of the key away.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Note: It is much easier to change the things you can with a factory service manual. May I suggest helminc.com. http://www.helminc.com/helm/search_se ... 9XQNB8HMJT6A7CK75FCXP2DE2 |

Good morning! I'm Brad and I'm a Vette-A-Holic. My wife recently has been giving the house a mini-makeover - a few new window treatments, rugs, artwork, accessories, etc. I figure she has spent around $1200 or so, and she's happy. So I have given myself tacit approval to buy a Corsa cat-back. See how this works?

Morning, I'm Bill and I'm a Vette-A-Holic. I'm driving Vette number 7 and still own Vette number 5. So I've spent a shitload of money on this fiberglass pleasure.

Hi, I'm Chris, and I just like cars. I bought the Vette because it was cheap. I always wanted a Vette, but I always wanted a Porsche 911 too. And a '70 Chevelle, and an old Mustang fastback, and a Lamborghini Miura, and Ford GT40, and an AC Cobra and....
And that doesn't include motorcycles. |

Hi, I'm Tom and I'm a Vette-a-holic. I've owned three over the years and I don't want to think about what I've spent...nor do I care It has been good to me.
Brad, you'll love the Corsa...I had the Corsa system on my 94 and loved the sound....and the lack of it (in the right instances). Ron, you are old school, and I fight that fight with the kids all the time. Chris, I like all sorts of cars too, but I am content (for the time being) with the Corvette. |

Hi I'm Donnie & I'm just a Vette drunk. I think being a Vette-A-Holic would mean I was working on giving them up, so I'll just stay Vette drunk. LOL
