Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's back to the daily grind for me. It was nice to come home and be able to sleep in my own bed last night. Best part of coming home was having my daughter run to the door and jump in my arms. She wouldn't let me put her down for 20 minutes. Wouldn't even go to Mama - ha!

We had a pretty good weekend, overall. Waaaay to much eating out. That was the only downside. I was so sick of eating restaurant food I wanted to die. Next time we go, we'll bring some homemade sandwiches, etc, to tide us over. But even factoring in the food and other costs, we still walked away with a few bucks in our pockets after some lucky slot and roulette play I also think the two day trip was too long, so next time it'll just be an over-nighter if anything.

Nice to hear you had some luck, and having your little one excited to see you return is always a great feeling!

Pretty dull weekend around here, capped off by a miserable performance by the Vikings. Hopefully they can shake it off next week, but the injuries are mounting. At least I made a little dent in my Christmas shopping. Meanwhile, it looks like the bottom is gonna fall out - they're talking overnight temps below 0 later this week.

Good Morning Gurus
Well, we had our first snowfall of the year. Just enough to mess up the roads and make things messy. I hope its all gone by the time I get off work today. I hate the snow and don't know how you snow belt guys deal with it all winter long! I guess it would be a little better if it wouldn't just melt and turn into mud like it does here in Maryland.

The days are short and the temps are getting colder, so I guess winter is upon us. I can't wait until April.

Freakin' blizzard hit here last nite. I'm glad I drove the C4 yesterday, probably won't get to drive it for the next 5 days. At least I can put away the rock skis and get the good ones out.

Goodmorning Guru's, woke up at 4:45 and headed for the kitchen for a drink of water, walked into the living room and saw our 9 ft Christmas tree we had decorated, laying sound asleep on the floor. I hated that tree the minute I saw it at the tree farm but the kids thought it was lonely all by itself with no other trees around it. There was a reason it was all by itself. It presents itself well on the front side but the back is a disaster. We only need one good side and the nice man at Windmill Pines tree farm said he would give me a goood deal on it. It looked like a banana laying in the back of the Duramax but for that price I was determined to make it work. We tied it up with 50lb test fish line but only used one strand. One wasn't enough and now I got that thing tied in so many places I could jump on it and it won't fall over.

Then I got to go out and shovel the snow. It's the good life here in the midlands. We are still reeling over the last second loss to Texas in the Big 12 Championship. Honestly! How many new ways to lose is there? I was at Wal-mart and they just have the Prozac sitting out in bins for people to help themselves. Oh well on to the Holiday Bowl and Arizona. If anyone saw the game, you saw an epic defensive show and a very weak offensive, but we put Colt McCoy on his ass a bunch of times. Everyone have a good day. marcus

Off today, had a couple of personal days to take, good thing, up late dealing with bullcrap and it ain't over yet.
Think I mite hit the treadmill and go back to bed....

Cold, cold, cold is all I have to say. Snow in the forecast starting tonight and into tomorrow. Not looking forward to that. Kids are beginning to smell Christmas break...come to think of it, so are we teachers. I still have lots of stuff to do before Christmas, so I'll be working both ends of the candle.

We had snow here this morning, too. Didn't notice it until I had to go to work

More snow in the forecast tomorrow night. Ugh.
