Well, listen to you whiners in the shout out box!!! I see no one else took the initiative to start the daily chat thread, but DB was all over posting up pics of some broads

Last night I had a 2 1/2 foot tall interloper who decided my bed would be a good place to sleep. And that same interloper decided that at 4 am it would be a good idea to start kicking her father in the face as she wiggled around in her sleep. Needless to say, I got a little less sleep that usual. Hence the multiple snooze hits and lack of an early start.

So what did everyone do without their morning chat? Go back to bed? I hope I didn't throw too many of you off.

Found a Hookah my daughter's car yesterday when I decided to wash it. She said it belongs to a friend. I believe her, but I sure wish it wasn't in her car. The car belongs to my wife and I, and I dunno if we can get in trouble if the police have reason to search the car.

I know the hookah itself is not illegal, at least I don't believe it is. Plenty of shops around sell them. But if the authorities were able to find enough pot in it, or with it, then I guess there could be trouble.

I really wouldn't get too far up my daughter's ass if she smoked pot. Nothing wrong with it in my book, except that it is illegal, and I wouldn't want to see her in any trouble with the law.

I searched around yesterday to bone up on the topic, so I could tell her why it's a bad idea, health-wise but I couldn't really find anything bad to say to her.

Hopefully her and I can find some time to go chat about life, so I can feel the situation out a bit. Or at least maybe we can go get high.... Might help me out right about now!

Been a laid back day here at school. the kids haven't wanted to do much of anything...I did get my woodworking classes to clean the shop. My drafting students couldn't get into it much, even though three of them haven't finished what's due for the semester. Oh well it's their decision. This afternoon we are showing a movie (Elf) to the student body...remember we have 180 students in the high school. I asked if I could have the shop open for my kids that wanted to work instead of watching the movie...so I have three out here working.

I have a pretty busy week planned for next week, so if I don't make it back, you all have a merry Christmas.

It in itself is not too bad except a smart ass cop will cite her for drug paraphernalia whether it has any residue or not, and then that is the probable cause needed to search the car.
I do agree with you on the rest....

I had a nice start to the day. Up way too late last night, up way too early today, but I got up, showered, dressed, took my paper and a glass of tea out on the front porch swing and quietly enjoyed both. Can't say as I've ever done that before.
These peeps on my street on welfare are on to something here...

No, actually Bill they are looking to cut three teachers in the district as the projected cuts affecting the state trickle down to the schools. I'm pretty sure that our supt is licking his chops at my retirement date of June 2010. That way he only has to figure out two more.
