Good Morning Tommy et. al

I needed a good laugh this morning and that worked. Thanks.

I'm pulling my hair out with worry about the show and at the same time I'm trying to keep things in order at my paying "day job" so as to keep the boss and co-workers happy. My phone has been ringing off the hook for three days now and I'm just going to turn it off today while I'm at work.

I can't wait until this is over. Maybe I might get to enjoy owning a Corvette again after this weekend!!

By some miracle the rain quit and the clouds parted just in time for golf last night - that never happens. I played almost halfway decent for a change, too. But the Vette is filthy now after yesterday's downpour.

I had a good laugh over that one Tommy. Don, look at the bright side, at least you don't have to work your tail off getting your car ready, one less thing to have to worry about for this show. Brad, glad to hear that the weather cooperated, and that you played decently. We didn't have Men's Night Monday because of Memorial Day, I'll hit it again next week.

Not much planned here for today, supposed to be a bit cooler today, low 80's compared to 97* yesterday.

Well, he had a heck of a storm last night! Rain, thunder shaking the house, lightning that lit up every room, terrible winds. Everything outside looks ok so far, just very wet.

Gotta take my truck back to the stealership today. I took it there last week for a recall on a faulty gas gauge. Funny thing is it worked before I brought it in. Now that I had it "fixed", it's doing the "problem" that they sent me the letter about - reading false fuel levels! So good job, guys. You broke the fixed part....isn't it supposed to be the other way around??? Ugh.

Other than that I've got more chores to do. We'll see if the wife wants to spar round 2 today.

Good evening gurus! Returned from Chicago about an hour ago. Niece and her husband flew in for an extended weekend.
Their flight left Ohare at noon, of course my wife wanted to go shopping in down town Chicago. Blah,Blah, you know the rest! She bought a summer dress at Nordstorms on sale for 125.00 and it did make her butt look big!! but I'm not saying a word! Loaded question!
