But it buys you a smoking hot wife even when you're a fat, bald, obnoxious, pill-popping a-hole.

She earns every bit of it. Who could stand the whine of an old, fat, bald, ultra conservative droning on and on and on?
His self promotion and search for approval has to be supported by someone. It's probably only a temp position. I'm sure she signed a pre-nup.

What is with radio guys anyway? Let's ask Larry King?

Money can buy you only the amount of happiness you can afford.

In Rush's case his money got him a smoking hot temp wife and a private concert from Elton John (who must be hurting for happiness/money). Rush sure as heck looks HAPPY in those pics to me...

Maybe he just popped a happy pill but I don't think so. That is the look of money my friends. A look of happiness that only stupid amounts of money can buy. The look that says "Yep, I'm a fat, bald, obnoxious, pill-popping, self righouse neocon a-hole and check out this smoking hot POA I roped. In a week I'm going to toss this tart aside like a wet dish towel for the next smoking hot, gold digging POA, seeking out her 10mins. To cap it off another great day as King of the neocon world, I got the biggest gay rights, libtard moron muscian in the world playing Tiny Dancer dedicated to me right now...."

If only once, I could have that look on my face. Instead I have the look of complacence in my place as as hard worker, true to my values, true to my woman, guy scraping every extra dime I can into my hobbies to take my mind off of my "hard worker, true to my values, true to my woman guy" status in life.

As happy as my money can buy... Which is enough.

rklessdriver your statement is such a contradiction...

If I was your "woman" and read this I would take your statement in a negative way - meaning your saying that you would be happier if you HAD the big money so you could HAVE the HOT POA by your side but essentially what you really are saying is that you are a hard working man with "just enough money" to be able to have hobbies to take your mind off of your "average" life with your NOT SO HOT POA by your side that you are "true" to. So to sum it up Men are happy when they have lots of money and a hot POA, not necessarily in that order. Basically you are no better than Rush - your just jealous cuz you don't have his life.

Justme - I'm just saying....

Eh. More money more problems. I was just as happy back fresh out of college as I am now and I have more money, more stuff, etc. I also have more debt, a bumload more responsibility, and often that comes with a bumload more stress.

If you're a happy person, you'll be happy with what you have, whether it's $50 or $50M. If you were that rich, you'd be "happy" with a new ZR1. If you had $50, you'd be happy with a ride in a new ZR1. It's all relative. It sounds cliche' but we all know it's true.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love the opportunity to prove my theory and be filthy rich. But I doubt that my life would be much different other than I'd have cooler stuff.
