Yesterday was a lazy day. Spent most of the day reclining. I don't know about the rest of you but sitting around for a day makes me ache the next day. Atrophied muscles and stiff joints have to brought back to life today. A nice hot shower is sure to help. We deep fried an assortment of snacks, sat back and watched some football, basketball and later, horror movies. We had 1 trick or treater. Now we have plenty of candy leftovers. The pound packing holidays have begun. Somebody has to eat all the leftover candy .......

Administering tests today. I should have lots of time to check in here. I just got them started on their first test (50 minutes). We had a ton of trick or treaters last night, over 350, and we missed an hour while we were at church. It was such a nice night I knew that we'd have a lot.

This week is a short one for us, as we have parent/teacher conferences Thursday afternoon and into the evening until 8pm. But that gives us Friday off and I am headed to KC with the two younger grandsons. My wife will be in meetings in Topeka, so I'll pick her up when we get there and take her with us. I am taking the new pickup, kind of anxious to see what it will do on a long journey.

Greetings! The alarm clock was a most unwelcome sound this morning. Tough getting back to the grindstone. We only had about 8 groups of trick-or-treaters last night, so lots of left-over candy at our house. I'm sure it won't go to waste, since I was raised by a child of the Depression.

Good luck with your road trip, Tom!

Have a great day, everybody!

On the second 50 minute test, that first 50 went by pretty fast.

Good Morning CGs!

Tommy, I have some aches and soreness too...but from lifting the other day.

Halloween was fun for the rugrat. Dressed up as a monkey, very cute. She went around the in-laws neighborhood where she knows all the kids and then around ours, as well. Funny, she knows more neighbors at my in-laws house than in our own neighborhood

While she was in the other town with my wife, I took the opportunity to pass out candy while cleaning the garage. It was great. Just opened the garage door and put a big bowl of candy on a chair, when the kids came up I told them to help themselves. I didn't count, but we had a ton of kids. Of course my wife went overboard and we still have a ton of candy left over I won't eat.

Probably took just under an hour

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sun's up.

Still not motivated.

Paging thru the new NCM Corvette catalog, noticed a new item in the apparel section - Corvette Dog Collars -
Should I say that I hope a few wives here don't see this catalog?

It's 11:12 AM EST. Guess I better get in that morning shower. Nothing accomplished yet other than balancing my checkbook and looking at some SUVs. I walked outside and looked at my Yukon again. Still has plenty of life left in it. Having no car payments keeps me out of the game. It spoiled me. New ones are high 30's and low 40's. The used ones I like are mid 20's. The one I have........ Free.

Just hope she doesn't see the electronic training collars.

I heard he's planning an addition to the D-house so he can invite his friends over.

Good Afternoon Everyone! I stayed up way too late last night!!! I'm pooped!

I dropped off the engine this morning to my builder. I was extremely happy with my tour of his shop and the discussions we have started. I think I'm going to be very happy working with him. Crossed Fingers

Done with the morning session. We will dismiss them in a few minutes for lunch and then back at it this afternoon. Glad to hear that you are pleased with your selection of engine builders Don. Hopefully you'll be back up and running before long.

Choker chains don't sound like too much fun to me, but whatever floats your boat.

Same ole stuff! plenty of noise, sawdust, no blood shed yet, buried in projects.
Just finished a design a utility cart for the basketball teams video equipment with castors. We will make it tomorrow.
Have a great day guys
