Mawnin! Something must be going around. I had a rough nights rest. My mind was pondering my brothers Porsche, old aquaintences and other stuff that really doesn't belong in a nights sleep. I didn't even eat any mushrooms.
Sue got the OK to resume activities. She is going back to a regular work schedule as she can tolerate. A couple of nice sales are coming together. Hope they pan out. The weather will not cooperate though. Two rainy, stormy days predicted. Maybe it'll wash all my troubles away. I have some inside stuff that needs attention so I'll keep busy. As I tell others I know ..... I have something to do every day for the rest of my life. I'm not lying ...... |

Good Morning CGs!
Sorry I've been MIA the past few days! Family was in town and the party was Sunday, yesterday was a bit of recovery  Christening party was a big success and we had a lot of fun. Almost 100% of confirmed guests showed up, so we had a total of 105 for the head count. The new banquet hall we used was awesome, food was great, band was a lot of fun. Couldn't have made it any better. I'll try to catch up on some posts later, I'm off to work. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew PS - Tommy, glad the wife is doing better! |

Send me some of that boring forecast, Bill! Sounds like a good weekend, Matt. Good to hear the Mrs. is on the upswing, Tommy. I also hate it when my mind starts wandering and focuses on something stupid at bedtime - the other night I was thinking about an old POS Dodge Ramcharger I had many years ago, out of the blue. Any time spent thinking about that turd is wasted, let alone losing a minute's sleep over it.

Yea, well, the base elevation down in the valley (Reno) is like 4,800 feet. IT cools off quickly when the sun goes down. But I usually sleep thru the lows.

Good Morning Gurus!
I'm getting pretty psyched about the impending spring! Yes indeed. I am getting ready to sign up for an Evolution Driving School that will be held in April near here. I understand they are pretty good and I should get quite a bit of seat time with an instructor. Tommy -- Glad the wife is on the mend! Matt -- Sounds like a great party! Good morning guy....Everyone appears to be doing well. The party sounds as though it came off well, Matt. The driving school is something that I would really like to do some time. Nearest ones to here would be in Colorado Springs. I'm going to go to the site you posted Bill and take a look.
It seems as though my insomnia Sunday evening wore off on some of the rest of you guys. I slept better last night. Got the computer done and delivered. The GS played his game, won and he had 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocked shots, 5 assists and didn't play in the fourth quarter. One more regular season game Thursday, then tournament play next week. I'm taking a professional day Friday. As soon as the GS plays his game Thursday, the wife and I will head for KC. We will go about halfway Thursday eve and spend the night with the wifes' folks, then get up and get to KC before noon. The Woodworking Show will be there noon Friday-Sunday afternoon. It's something I always attend and I can get re-cert points for it. The kids are a little better today, maybe the weather is going to be a little better. Looking for highs in the mid to upper 40's for the next couple days. Well, I need to try and watch those videos before the next class comes in. |

Another quiet day! Pushed a little snow last night, we only got 2-3 inches. Trucks running great, plow needs some work. Thick ice tears the crap out them.
Last year I egg shaped the mounting holes in the frame for the plow. I boxed in the frame with 3/8" plate steel. Students are bored with the weather. Flu symptoms seem to be hitting us now, nurse is swamped with vomiting, hershey squirts, and fever. Well guys 20 minutes to go and this day is history. I have a Root Canal scheduled for tomorrow after school. Cool. |
