Greetings! Figured since no other slackers started the thread, I may as well. Another dreary, cold, rainy day here - it was snowing last night during the Twins' debacle, just lovely. I heard a little quiz on the radio this morning - they said Paul McCartney has a lot of cars, but which one is his favorite? A Corvette, a Toyota Prius or a Rolls-Royce? I guessed the Prius, but it turns out he like the Vette best. Baby you can drive my car....

Well - I'll respond. Good Morning Corvette Brothers!
Washington DC suburbs and Maryland got some real hard weather last night. Somehow I was outside the eastern edge of that storm path and we just got a little rain (Thank God). We are still under tornado warnings but should be good to go. I hope the rest of you are safe and sound because these storms and tornadoes are really causing a lot of loss of life and property. We (CCA) are hosting Muscle Car Mania Drag Races and Fun Show this weekend in Crofton, MD if anyone nearby is interested. The weather outlook is good so far. Today I have to tear apart my fuel pressure gauge and add a copper pipe extension to it so I can duct tape it to the windshield and take a drive. I may not do it if it's too windy because the hood will be unlatched.

Bill how politically incorrect of you! I love it! Good morning Guru Nation the sun is shining and the clients started calling at 6:30 this morning. Hopefully they can get some corn in the ground. Brad it's still early the Twins have a lot of time left to mess it up more. Although the Royals were only a 1/2 game back last time I checked. I am not getting my hopes up. Hit a hard third gear today guys the weekend is in sight. |

Heading out to my muzzle loading club's spring "rendezvous".
I'm "primitive activities chairman". We might actually get a break in this rainy weather. Good morning guys....Marcus, the Royals have hit a skid patch. They're in third place now...but still love them. Bill, I have to agree with Marcus, POLITICALLY INCORRECT....I love it too. Don, that looks to be a good time, pictures are in order.
It's a much warmer day here, already warmer than yesterday and looking to be even warmer tomorrow. Not much going on here. I'm working on table #2 for that client and cabinets for another...which BTW, I got the tip-outs Bill, thanks. And the book, Marcus is very up lifting, haven't got very far, but it's good so far. Better get busy. You guys have a great day. |

Well the little guy is finally on the mend. Off the breathing machine and close to eating normally.
Docs want to keep him another 4 weeks for meds and observation. So there is light at the tunnels end now... whew!  |

I just found out a while ago that one of the nine airmen murdered last night in Afghanistan was one of our own, from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. She had just been selected to be promoted to Master Sergent and was over there helping out. The US Airmen and one contractor were shot point blank in a conference room during a meeting. I didn't personally know her because we have a lot of personnel in AFOSI but it still hits close to home.

Hey Coach good news, thanks for the update and the pic. Everyday is a win as he continues to heal. Don, that's terrible I had not heard anything about it yet. Tommy glad your Mum is doing well and you guys are getting to go on your cruise.
