Good morning guys...Have fun Tommy!

I'm up, I slept well and the day is off and running. My younger daughter and hubby are having a privacy fence put in and when we pulled up to their house yesterday afternoon, I was shocked. T workmanship is sh!t. I told them several things were unacceptable and they agreed but wanted my opinion. The guy is supposed to be back today to "finish". Well I have news for him....I doubt he "finishes" today. He has a lot to re-do.

Older daughter, the one whose hubby tried to commit suicide a couple weeks back (who is doing really well, seeing a therapist) has decided she can' take anymore and they are going to divorce. They are talking and agreeing on the split. And have pretty much figured out who is getting what. A lot of the furniture that I built for them is staying with him. My daughter says "Dad you're going to have a lot of furniture to build". She is also going to let him have the house, so she is house-hunting. We a going with her today to look at a couple with her. She wants to stay in the same area and is really the "bread winner". He can afford the payments on the existing house, so she says that it makes more sense for her to look at buying.

Interesting times coming for me.

Tom... Have fun, be safe and don't fall over board!! It takes a while to make a big turn out there. LOL

I'm here... been up for a while. I had to run a trailer that I borrowed from my boss last week back to his house early this morning before he and the misses went out for the day, so now I feel like its lunch time already.

I hope to get the plumbing done on my transmission today and get that mounted up and the C-Beam back in place. I wish I had those Beam Plates now!

Tomorrow is our Spring Track Rental at Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD. Its about 30-40 minutes each way between DC and Baltimore. I hope we pull a good crowd. We need at least 30-40 cars and a decent amount of spectators to break even.! Cross fingers and hope we get them.

Other Tom... teebee, I'm glad that things are working out. Although its sad they can't work the differences out, at least some resolution is coming. I know you will be there for her! Your a good dad! Sometimes I wish I was a dad, that could have those problems... Sounds crazy I guess.

Have a fantastic trip, Tommy! And Tom, good to hear that your daughter has decided on a resolution to their situation.

Ugly, dreary day here, probably a good day to clean up the garage some.

Thanks, Tom. That's the first time I've been to CF's C4 section in 2 years

But the guy just stated what's in the FSM.

The problem with a lot of this stuff is you need GM's darling, expensive Tech 1 to do certain things (pet peeve).

Might be the fuel pump, i have my gauge taped to the windshield but haven't got out for a run yet.

Good morning, my ideas of a slow day have gone up in smoke when the phone started ringing at 6:30. Have a good one Tommy, Don never to late to have some kids, I'll send you Ultraboy for a week. Mmmmm maybe not, he's grounded because of his math grade.

TeeBee you can only do what you can do to help out at this point. Gotta keep looking down the road.

Everyone have a good day! Gotta go haul some SuperStarter.

What a day so far, I picked up the floor tile for the kitchen. A box of 7 tiles weighs like 50 freekin' pounds.

Then, got the mail----including a letter from the IRS ---Hummm, they want to give me back $400

Then, I drove the C4, over the potholes and at 80 mph with the hood unlatched and a f/p gage taped to the windshield.

The fuel pump and regulator work, BFD. At least I got the code to come back. Now more diagnosis.

I have looked all over the Guru and can't find what the exhaust bolt torque is supposed to be. Anybody quick off the top of their head? One place on the internet said 65 the other 25 so I am confused.

And is there a pattern to tighten?

26 assuming you mean the mainfolds, no pattern. Personnally, if it's headers, I tighten up the center bolts first and see how easy the outside ones spin in.

Hola, gents. I'm down in Houston with the family. Humid as hell, but beats Michigan. At least for the next few weeks. Then it's too damn hot here and perfect back home.

Bill, what's a code 64, don't have my FSM's with me

I'm fairly well versed on LT1 engine issues, although I guess you're no slouch yourself.

Right oxy sensor lean.
I drove it today until the SES light came back on (after clearing the codes), had a F/P gauge on, the F/P was OK and the regulator acted like it's supposed.

I've been inclined to think that it is lean cause it's runs 5-6 degrees hotter than normal @ 70mph. Funny thing is if you slow down, the SES light goes off and the temps drop back to 192 (normal cruise temp). Makes me think the oxy sensor is telling the truth.
Might be time for new injectors (they ohm Ok but that's just the solenoids).

I have to get the car up and check the sensor wiring (lazy today).
