Drive it????

yea, well the cabinets had to go up just to get them out of the downstairs livingroom.
I have one cabinet to hang tomorrow, couple of shelves and cleanup. then I can play with the car.

Right now, I'm going to drive the C4

The outdoor temp on the Vette said 105 on the way home. I don't know if that is accurate, but it's probably the "feels like" temperature for roadkill.

Hey guys...thanks for the well wishes. I've made it to KC 6 hours and 45 minutes....38 minutes for a gas/lunch break. Traffic wasn't bad until I got to around Topeka, then it was not fun from there on. The ole 'Vette was making around 27mpg (26.8 actually). The temps were as high as 103, good thing the AC works well. Bill, you've made some headway with those cabinets. Matt, glad you got the pool going, I'm sure that it will be well worth it. Brad sounds like you got the same hot weather we do....do you have the wind as well? It was blowing about 30mph making it a blast furnace.

Get up tomorrow and head out about 8:30 on another 6 hour drive. Should get to Effingham by mid afternoon.

I'll be happy to do that. I'll make sure to bring multiple rubbermaid containers and a uhaul truck to get rid of all those old car parts laying around.

Well, no bday dinner tonight. We signed Samantha up for gymnastics last minute for Tuesday nights so they are over there now. I got the baby washed up and when the ladies get home I'm gonna set up a new water slide we got for rugrat #1. It's huge and she should enjoy it. I'd like to get a run in tonight after 8 when it cools down. It was/is 97 here today.

Glad you made it safe, TB.

Ha, you'll never find it all, the dash's in the living room closet, there's parts under the bed in the guest room and there's even some in the racetrailer.

I think.

Holy mother of pearl it was hot out today. I was out in it all day riding over the fields on my 4 wheeler. I think the wind was worse today. I am now slaming back a NA beer and laughing out loud because I want to. Tom I hope it cools off for you when you get there. Gotta go watch the ball game, I am not cheering for any team with the name of Heat!
